I have another pack of 1.8's, I like the rayon for flavor wicks...seems to give me more vapor and better flavor...but that's just me

I like rayon wicks on my RTAs but on those small coils flavor wicks seem to reduce airflow and those BCCs have a tight airflow to begin with

I understand. I was just wondering if, with a TC coil, it was possible to heat clean a coil.

I do it....
600 F isn't enough to make it look new, but it's enough to loosen up the crud to scrape off fairly easily

Ah, soda pop... I looked at the link, but it didn't tell me if it contains HFCS (a nasty very unhealthy sweetener - most pops use it because it is cheaper than sugar). Oh well... at least I have been enlightened one more time.

I always opt for the "throw back" sodas when available, since they use real sugar vs. the corn syrup

i have seen videos of people spinning a length of coil wire then spinning another wire around the outside to look somthing like a guitar string and then wind it to make a coil etc

That's called a Clapton build....

just watched that and yes its funny but it was another video the guy had what looked like an empty kitchen roll tube and went right up close and took a real big lung hit followed by coughing him self silly

i was almost crying with laughter

i was just asking as i have watched loads of coil building videos but never seen it done

but as someone said it prob wouldnt work i was just curious why it had not been tried

and i must say its an art form in itself

but i just cant see me going to that extreme it looks to tricky

so i will prob miss out on them benefits

The wick being frayed enough to make good coil coverage... Wouldn't work well, plus you need tails long enough to reach the deck (rba) or juice tank.... The coil around the wick is more efficient

Using a minimal amount of rayon for the "flavour" wicks works very well, producing up to twice the amount of vapour in comparison to the standard setup, and that's because the rayon wicks quicker than silica and presents the coil with more liquid.
