That may be the case for those vaping plain nicotine... but WTA adds a whole 'nuther layer to it -- that's why I resisted using it, my first time around, last spring; it was only those ungodly cravings that caused the relapse and then also followed me into smoke-free territory that made me realize I really needed something more, if I was going to *stay* smoke-free, because I just couldn't handle those cravings. Without WTA, I would not have been able to remain smoke-free; that kind of suffering is why nothing *before* e-cigs worked at all; now I understand that it probably wasn't just the hand-to-mouth experience I was craving when I tried the patch, but probably the other alkaloids too. Without the ability to step it down as gradually as I've done, likely I would never have been able to get and stay smoke-free.
