Thanks for the welcome Kat, Tootletown sounds about right.

No secret here, we are big time low power folks and like it very much. The Mrs and I float between 3.9 and 4.2V on a Provari with a 3.2ohm cartomizer tank. This and a DiY clear liquid lightly flavored with Flavor Arts Watermelon has been the only thing we have used for over three years now, simple and works. Between the low power and the light liquid there is so little maintenance to fuss about.

Thanks folks, seems like my kind of crowd.

I tend to not wander the forum too much other than our Forum and News and Media but happened to look into the general thread the other day and glad I did. Just seems like everything about vaping is moar watts, moar vapor. At least thats what gets the coverage in the community but I happen to have a little inside knowledge that there are in fact lots of us out there that are simply content, maybe easily satisfied I dunno but there is no arguing the results.

The problem from our end is that when folks hit that comfortable spot and decide to settle in to whatever device they also tend to drift away from the conversation so the in group consists primarily of this months new stuff discussions and trying to find solutions of how to make them work. I mean honestly how much can you talk about a cartomizer tank you have been using for over three years? The cartomizer is dead discussion has been going on now for well over a year and quite honestly there are few businesses left supporting them, as long as there are a few cartomizer users out there still enlightening folks who are new to vaping about them they will stay around for years to come too.

I get it though, I understand how the industry favors the current trends and I also understand how the end users love all the options for many reasons for rebuildables and wild watts that vary from flavor that tickles their fanny to being able to vape on a dollars worth of wire and wick for a year then also on to those who are just enamored by being able to reduce the visibility in the immediate area to what would trigger a fog delay for the local schools.

The thing I really get the most though is the end which is far more important than the means. If whatever someone is doing is offsetting that PaD then that is what is absolutely best for them.

Well, off to explain to The Mrs that she is a Tootle Puffer...

Hiya OCD. I did get into rebuilding, just because of what you said about the businesses going to bigger and better, and of course the gubb'mint regs, but I still tootle puff. On a reo, with my nuppin. Lovin it. I did try a .59 the other day, just to see if I was missing anything. I wasn't, didn't like it.

A carto/cartotank is the only thing I would recommend to new vapers, for ease of use and quality of vape -- I went the clearo route at first, and those things are just a huge pain -- when I discovered cartotanks I was thrilled! Unfortunately nearly everything I'm vaping nowadays is a massive gunker, so I'm sticking to Kayfuns -- but when I eventually get back to a less gunking juice, I'm sure my cartotanks will be making a comeback -- because they JUST WORK. And you're right, as long as there are a few of us who like them because they JUST WORK, I don't think they'll be "dying," no matter what the new latest and greatest may be.

I'm not a carto hater, I just don't use them much anymore. I did pick up a 5 pack just this morning from a local vape shop for emergency use in this little guy though. :)

hi,@OCD you are absolutely correct, once you get settled with the gear you use, unless it breaks,no point on looking at new stuff, still worth it sometimes but not necessary, its been 2 years since I replaced my gear...only reason I bought a new set,was because of the rise of an efficient vv/vw system..

still tootle puffing thou.,kinda overgrown the whole cloud chasing thing,
but what does interest me know ar different wicks,

A carto inside a tank is simple joy...me being low maintenance suit my style perfectly. I like the certainty that once that carto is spent (usually last me a good 1.5 weeks) it gets tossed, no cleaning, recoiling, etc nice and easy. Absolutely, anything that works that well will always be around!
