I am holding steadfast to my "No Labor day" shopping of the vape kind. LOL, I do need a couple pairs of work pants that fit, but there is No Way I am Going Out there this weekend (at all) and also I think I can enter a "Project Runway make it work situation" for two weeks. I have 3 Aegis 100W and I used them for about a couple of months after the newest worn out. Bought two Aegis Legends back in May, I only used those for a week.
So, did you not like them or did they all break?
No, they are as good as new. I use TC about 99% of the time and on the Legend, the TC is horrible. Yes there is a firmware USB port and they do have updated firmware. This Windows 8.1 works fine with DNAs, other mods, even with the Aegis 100W, but the Legend it can't see. And I heard the TC is still horrible.
The Aegis 100W had 5 firmware updates the last time I checked. Only the original, the TC worked halfway decent. So that is the one I stuck with. But you also have to live with all of the other bugs with v1.0 too.
My GBOX mods work the best of any Geek Vape mod I ever had (electronic/firmware). Oddly enough, only firmware v1.0 was the only firmware for it. And I can't think of any bugs or anything with that one. This one came out before the other two and maybe whoever wrote this firmware left, got fired, or something. And maybe they have been trying to do what the other guy did and are still not even getting close.
I do love Geek Vape's SS Flask v1 and think they are wonderful. I have a bunch of them. There is also the Flask v2 made of plastic. Yeah I wasn't crazy about that one. And my two the 510 part ends up tightening tighter until they are impossible to get apart without a pipe wrench. For plastic threads, really?
The only bug I know about with the GV Aegis 100W I ordered is that PBusardo discovered during a lengthy review that if you change the atomizer it reads the same value as the previous. You have to power off and on to make it read the new one. I'm hoping that's the only bug and that there's an update to fix it. With Busardo videos on the issue I'd think they'd want to fix it before sales were lost. His was a pre-release review, so the production models should be updated. Other than that his review was generally positive, but he did say he wouldn't buy one unless that issue was fixed.
