Yeah... that's true. But that could happen with any mod, even DNAs. Like you have to lock ohms on DNA200s if you swap batteries. And not just before swapping, it has to be done much earlier. Otherwise after the cells swap, the DNA200 sees the hot coil as the cold resistance. Just like Phil's Aegis 100W did. But Phil won't tell you this about the DNA200.The only bug I know about with the GV Aegis 100W I ordered is that PBusardo discovered during a lengthy review that if you change the atomizer it reads the same value as the previous. You have to power off and on to make it read the new one. I'm hoping that's the only bug and that there's an update to fix it. With Busardo videos on the issue I'd think they'd want to fix it before sales were lost. His was a pre-release review, so the production models should be updated. Other than that his review was generally positive, but he did say he wouldn't buy one unless that issue was fixed.
Then he continued to find the tiniest things he could find to hate the Aegis. Like someone paid him to hate it. Blaming the Aegis because using his 26650 Brillipower, the Aegis battery cap couldn't screw in all of the way. All he had to do is check what Mooch said about that Brillipower or even measure it himself and would have learned that Brillipower is too long.
Then while using his Brillipower, tried to fire the Aegis at 100W. The Aegis saw the battery voltage sag drop way too low and wouldn't fire. He blamed the Aegis again when it was his silly Brillipower can't even do 80W, let alone 100W. And Phil went on and on through that long video and gave it a huge thumbs down. Okay it seems Phil really hated it.
Now later the Aegis Legend comes out and he talks about the Aegis 100W in the beginning of that video. It's like he totally forgot what he told everybody about it and he had nothing but praise to say about the Aegis 100W. And said he uses it a lot and it is one of his favorite mods. Geez!
Now back in the Aegis 100W firmware v1.0. There is one very serious bug that all Aegis users should know about. That is the stuck fire button bug. Meaning if the fire button is held down, it will fire for 10 seconds, pause, fire for 10 seconds, and keeps repeating until the fire button is released or worse. Yeah not good if you put it in your pocket or backpack or something. Turning it off, it won't do anything then.
Yeah later firmware versions Geek Vape said they fixed it and didn't. Only the last one at the time I checked all 5 versions, they finally fixed it which was 1.24 if I remember correctly.
