I know rather impulsive wasn't it! LOL!

Sounds like a quick decision I made last week. My A/C system was cooling fine, but started making a "funny" noise & smelled like something burning Thurs. at 1:30AM while I was still up. Checked the air handler in the attic (with fire extinguisher in hand, just in case), & then turned the whole system & breakers off.

At 8AM I called my A/C guy, & turned it back on. Had no sounds & no smell then. A/C guy (longtime great repairman) came at 2PM. Went up in the attic with him to see what he thought was wrong. Unit was 26 years old, but was still cooling fine. The sound & smell at 1:30AM though had sort of freaked me out. When he started saying what could be replaced in it or that I might want to replace just in case....I said, "Oh, why don't we just replace the whole thing instead?" I thought he was going to drop his teeth! But he agreed, since it was so old. By 10:30AM Saturday, I had a whole new 3 ton system (attic unit, outside unit, & thermostat) up & running.

I don't think I'll be buying much $$ vape stuff for the next month or so. But...I did order a Jac (early birthday $ from brother) and 1 for the neighbor (his own $) yesterday. Brother's card & check had come with this note: "Happy Birthday! You know the drill. Pick out something to make it special, & let me know what I bought you." Since I always listen to my older brother...I had to order that Jac & the 4 more Berserkers that already came last week. :D

At 26 years old, you did the right thing. I did my 20 year old system in PA last spring because the outside was sounding mighty sickly. With a system that old, you can't just replace half of it either due to the incompatibility between the older R22 refrigerant and the R410A that current systems use. Newer system are also a good bit more efficient. I went from a SEER 10 to a 15. In principle, that should reduce the amount if electricity used by about 1/3.

We built our last house in 1997. Replaced two of the AC systems several years ago. One is still working fine (covers the downstairs bedrooms and only gets run at night). We did jump in SEER ratings and quieter operation on the two that were changed and the power bill is noticeably lower.

Two of the L.B. White gas furnaces are still running fine, but the company that manufactured them got bought out, so we'll have to change to something else when they go.

Somewhere out there
I checked my AW button top stash and I have some I bought new, guess I'll hang on to them for my Provari mini I bought years ago. Sentimental attachment to it :) It reminds me of that moment when I decided to "Just get a Provari" LOL! my other minis and 2.5's I need to sell.

In a word: yes. The mini is minimalized, smooshed, and has the display sideways, all of which is pretty sweet ergonomically, it's like a smaller, better built, more powerful Radius. I think the V2s and #6's (26650) are both about to get a reboot. A dual battery mod is also -- perpetually -- forthcoming, but hasn't seemingly made their priority list since most of the people buying dicodes are using things like Kayfuns, Skylines, Hussar, Squape, Dwarv, Vapor Giant, Taifun, etc, stuff that drifts from MTL to DL, but doesn't require 800 gigawatts to power.

I think Creme De Vape has a sale on both V2s and 6s, the thing to keep in mind is if you buy it from the UK, you're not getting dicodes pretty stellar US customer service.
Why would where you bought it affect ability to use the US cs?
