Same here,i have a bunch of 510 connectors, and still ordering more.I have several mech mods,so i am prepared, but i also like my regulated stuff.I figure down the road,i can either build unregulated,or i can grab some Okl chips and build a few regulated mods too.
early on i bought some 510 to ego adaptors (i have no idea why,,,i was new!) can you guys tell me which 510's to get? i picked this on out because of so many others did and the 'self adjusting' notation

$2.05 DIY Self-adjusting 510 Connector for E-Cigarette - stainless steel + brass / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Have you ever tasted pure VG, no nic? It is like sugar gel! I am amazed we need to sweeten anything. I tried plain VG and plain PG when my taste buds went wonky years ago, I found I liked it plain for a change when everything starts tasting the same anyway. I used to vape plain and no nic at night when I first started vaping so I could chain vape and still sleep :)
i call my diy no flavor ejuice 'Neat',, i try to vape a bit between tanks,, gives my tastebuds a break,, and cleans the wick a bit. when i make a new coil and wick it,, i dont waste flavors on the first time,,i use the Neat,, so if i have a leak,, its not the flavored stuff.

You'll love it. It changed a tedious task to a simple one for just a few bucks. I'm never looking back.

I use pg base. Not sure how vg flows through the stem. Cutting it shorter for more flow would prob take care of it. The softness of the plastic on the bottle is really really nice for control.
Very well. 90% of all my juices are mostly VG. No need to cut it shorter.

Yeah, that is the type i would recommend getting.I haven't used that specific one,but i have used a few others from Ft with no problems.Although,i do not know how long the spring may last in those,i would suggest checking either Varitube or Fat Daddy.Varitube has some really nice ones for about $1 more than the ones you linked to.I just got some from vt,and paid $3.75 for them.

I think every vaper should try unflavored juice @ their preferred strength and ratio at some point. I held off testing unflavored for a long time when I started DIY in 2013. I didn't actually try it for real until last year. It surprised me. VG gives off a distinct sweetness and the nic has a slight flavor that is quite pleasant. It's not like "breathing air" at all.

I've been vaping it more and more lately and I keep liking it more and more. I'm starting to think I can do without flavors now (something I thought I would never say).

You can buy nic base in almost any ratio and strength from certain vendors like Nude and it's high quality stuff. 50mls of 6mg is only $6. A half liter is only $22. It's not even DIY style. It's ready to vape the second it hits the mailbox.

I tried unflavored when I was testing out nicotine suppliers to see the differences, but they all just tasted kind of soured to me. With flavoring they were all good and noticed no real difference between the 3 I tried. Strangely enough 0nic unflavored was quiet nice so it must be the nic that tastes soured to me.

About the Pico on FT:

FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics....

Did anyone notice this in their description?

"Please note: The Eleaf security stickers on the product are removed so that this product can be offered to customers like you at the lowest price possible."

Does that concern anyone, since they said they're authentic, but then say that they don't have the Eleaf security sticker?

Also, I wonder why they have the same white one (mod only) listed twice, and have 3 of the other colors, but don't have the blue that Eleaf also made.

Oh, forgot this:

If anyone's still looking for cheap, old school, cartos to buy...AlvinEcigs has a variety of Boge, packs of 5 for $.99/pack! They also have a bunch of other stuff dirt cheap (like a variety of drip tips & more). Owner said she's clearing things out with the intention of closing up. Get free S/H with $15 purchase.

I believe anyone who isn't a registered supplier with eleaf has to remove that sticker, but don't quote me on it. I have also never received a product labeled authentic from fasttech that wasn't the real deal and all the clones are listed as style so it didnt concern me. As for why they have the white listed twice I don't really know, but istick hasn't made a blue pico. That was the only thing I have disappointed me with the pico, I love the shade of blue used on the other isticks and that would have been my first choice if it had been available. Then again I have wraps coming so I guess the blue is a mute point for me in the end :lol::lol:

Wow! What a deal on cartos. If'n I didn't have more cartos than I'll probably ever use now, I'd be all over this. :)

I keep a small bottle of 50/50 mixed up to use when testing new recipes. I normally mix up 4-5 at a time. I try the lightest flavors first...then use the 50/50 to clean it out, so to speak, so that I don't have to change the cotton every time. Gives my taste buds a break in between, as well.

Jeez, I come home to find I am behind about 5 pages. Sorry, I am not taking the time to quote everyone but here are my random thoughts:

Re shipping from GB and FT, it depends where you live. Mine from FT usually arrive quickly but GB can take a month. When I check packages, GB usually sends them around the world so to speak.

As to tracking with GB, usually nothing shows up on the tracking page until the item is delivered, lol.

I wanted the white Pico as I never order black mods but that all black looked good.

I assume you all know about the sleeves for the Pico so color probably doesn't even matter much since you can change them anytime you like.

I am not a fan of the Melo atty so no more kits for me. I will just pay 23.00 for the Pico if I get any more.

I've never used a carto tank. How long do the cartos seem to last? I KNOW everyone vapes differently, but would you have to change them as often as you re-wick, for example? I remember watching a video of PBusardo rinsing his out. Have any of you done that?

I have felt that I am through stocking up. But, I have been thinking of what some folks have been saying about "getting older" and being able to get those tiny wires under screws, etc. Only God knows if I will be able to see well enough or my hands will be steady enough to rebuild in 20 years. I've been trying to decide whether to just stock up on coil heads for my STMs and other tanks or maybe go the carto tank route. Advice?

I will jump in since I am one of the 'older folk'. I can't see well enough to do that close work so I hate doing coils and such. I buy premade coils/wicks and use my other tanks like nautilus or the carto tanks. I find that cartos are comparable to the 510 attys, if you ever used those. Some are DOA, some don't work right, others are great and last me for over 2 weeks. No QC with those things. I like the flavor in a carto tank above all else including gennies etc. As for rinsing them, I do that with all of mine. Dry them a few days and then usually get another few days out of them.
