I have no qualms about freezing in plastic for awhile.
I cut mine in half when I take a bottle out to use. I feel like it will be alright at full strength as long as it is in the freezer but think it works better for me to cut it once it is kept at room temps. I didn't do it with the first 100mg bottle I was working with and it got a light tan color to it before I was able to use all of it. Now that I cut it down to 50mg I've not had that happen. Since it will take only half the room I will keep my 100mg at 100mg while in the freezer. We all gotta do what works best for us since there really isn't a perfect right or wrongOne of the resident chemist said up to one year. So for me a few months should not hurt anything. You have made me ponder on reducing the nic strength tho...
Especially if you are a hunter or have a family, have yet to toss any venison in 20 years of using one.+1 for a vacuum machine. I use one all the time for food, and nic.![]()
Hubby surprised me with a Weston food saver a couple of years ago. I don't know how I managed to get along all those years before I got it. I know I had to toss a lot more food back then because of freezer burn. If you read my blog you will see how I use mine+1 for a vacuum machine. I use one all the time for food, and nic.![]()

Mine is all in PG and that may make some difference.Interesting. Just gotta consider this for a bit - definitely easy to try.

I have some of mine in 60ml bottles. When I take one out of the freezer I pour it in a 120ml bottle and add 60ml PG so I too work out of a 120ml bottle. If I take a 120ml bottle out of the freezer I pour half of it into a 60ml and put that one back in the freezer.I open the liter bottles and break them down to 120ml bottles as needed and then only work out of one 120ml bottle at a time.
mine DIY comes out about 50/50 or thereabouts. the percentage isn't critical to me. The only PG I have in there comes from my flavorings and nic. The rest of it is vg thinned with a saline solution and distilled water. I mix that up a liter at a time so don't have to do it oftenI am a primary PG user also - vape at 70 - 30 on average... Lately tried some 60 - 40 and it aint bad, but you have to put more time for wicking between vaping...

If you reread what I wrote you will see that I keep most of my stored nic at 100mg. I only cut my working bottle. I understand what you are saying. I just wanted to clarify for those that are following this conversation. I don't want to be quoted as saying that someone should cut their 100mg down before storing.Yeah, mattiem and someone else i saw on here posted that 60mg is a nice balance of strength+slower oxidation. 100mg is 10% so thats 4% more nicotine floating around so it will interact with the o2 at a faster rate. Preferably I would be getting 36mg, but thats way too many bottles. doing 60mg seems like a midway point. And if it oxidizes some its not the end of the world, as long as it doesnt taste like tobasco.
Thanks so much for the info. It is between this one and the white for me. Decisions, decisions.Yes. I just had one delivered yesterday off this SKU, which they call SS but is just brushed $25.23 Authentic Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC VW APV Box Mod - 1-75W / 100-315C'(200-600F') / 1*18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Looks really nice. I have the regular silver but this looks nicer.
Ah I see, my bad. 100mg will oxidize faster though, even in the freezer. I dont know the science behind it, but im sure I read it here on ECF somewhere at some point. 100mg is too strong for me to feel comfortable working with without the proper equipment and area. I figure a 60mg 120ml in the back of the fridge at any one time, I would use 18ml per month 2 30ml bottles or so. So it would last about 6 months give or take.If you reread what I wrote you will see that I keep most of my stored nic at 100mg. I only cut my working bottle. I understand what you are saying. Your linked Plastics Types website info... is exactly where I also verified that the HDPE bottles I have will not leach into their contents. As far as not being as cost effective as the amber glass bottles - that 5oz. (150mL) size is normally sold for $161.81/case of 72 = $2.25 each. However, they are Overstocks of the company I got them from, where a friend works. They were all sealed in plastic wrap, by the dozen, and my cost...including S/H came out to $25/case, which is $.35 per bottle! There's nowhere I can get bottles that size in glass for that price. While it sounds good, not all HDPE and plastics are created equally. High end HDPE for freezing "probably not what vendors use which is why they say to put in glass" is possible, but its probably not as cost effective as just some amber boston rounds.
