I wonder if buying tanks and mods right now is not such a good idea. Az will probably tax the hell out of this stuff so for us in states that will take major advantage of situation should buy now. But those of you in more lenient states might want to hold back for now on hardware maybe. As nicotine becomes majorly expensive, I predict as expensive as cigs, people will probably go back to smoking or quit and the vendor will be left with all this hardware in the two years that are coming up, and want to unload it all before its too late. This is a definate possibility.Just thinkin out loud.

They look pretty easy to use I stocked up on about 8 of them :)

As long as it fits in your mod, they are pretty easy to install. I love telescoping mods because you can get just about any combination of kick and battery to fit. Tube mods with a kick ring (short add-in section) also work.

I've been to a few of those going out of business sales. Usually make it there when all the good stuff is gone and they're down to selling the "fixtures". :(

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Buy it now at the existing prices, or wait and find that the price is low, but you're unable to get something because the few they had left were snapped up by buyers ahead of you. Of course, that's even IF there's something to buy when the store finally decides to close their doors.

How many of you are snagging extra things based solely on the price, rather than something you know you need or will use?

"But Honey! It was on sale!!!!!"

That same thought has crossed my mind here more then once as I read post

I rarely buy "one" of anything just because it was on sale, BUT I've been known to buy the second or third because it was on sale.

But...with the way things are going with some states already, who can predict which states will continue to be "more lenient" after they see the extra tax $ other states are raking in? I'm not willing to take that chance myself, and not personally making sure I can vape for the rest of my lifetime.

I think you have a valid point. Although many in this thread prefer "older" style stuff and I think we've already seen a lot of that disappear off the shelves of many on-line vendors in their clearance sales so for the older stuff I don't think it wise to wait if that's what you need and really want. Now for the newer stuff, ya it might be a good idea if one has the patience and can live without if they aren't able to get it.

I don't think waiting in hopes of better deals is a good idea. If it gets as bad as it appears it will be, I forsee a mad frenzy to get things, like in the old days with trippy tips, lavatanks, etc. That is frustrating, especially if you don't get something you won't be able to find again.

Ok, I went with the kicks and may be screaming for help when installing lol. Can't beat 4.00 for one so I got a few.

Exactly my thoughts on not buying now. I don't expect to see things getting better any time soon.

I may live to regret it but I had a couple of them along with a $12.00 Kbox in my cart but emptied it instead of checking out. At my age I feel confident that I have enough to keep vaping for the rest of my life even without having to resort to the mechanical devices in my stash.

You never know, I have been sticking with Taifuns, found the GT2s style I liked and stocked up on those on cheap 10.00 sale. they have been my everyday tank since moving from kayfuns a couple years ago, and thought I was all set and found the STMs on sale. My daughter was curious to try some kind of subtank since shes mostly a dripper and wanted to try a tank. So i purchased a few for the 9.99 sale that was going on at Vapehappy and we really liked them. So I went back and ended op with 20 of them and it turns out that these are my all day faves now, and for a really great price, glad I took a chance. Now looking back over the last 5 y ears and thinking about all the 40.00 tanks I purchased kind of blows but it was for a good cause, got me and her off smokes.Good luck everyone and thanks for all the info here at ecf.

The only thing I'm continuing to stockpile is nic. That's the most vulnerable in the short term. Hardware? I already bought a lot over a range of price points. From this point on I'll only buy stuff I'm sure I want and will like rather than a "just because" for stockpiling. Maybe in a year or 18 months I'll be scrambling with everyone else, but as long as I have a supply of nic, I'm sure I'll find a way to vape it.

I think right now peace of mind is better than waiting. When I think of how much ecigs cost for the kits back in 2009 to the sale prices we have now, I say get it while you can while there is still stock. Then if you can get a Provari for $1 in 2018 go for it and get some extra :)
