Yep they refunded me (I ordered last night when they were closed). Have they asked you for a picture of your DL yet? I completely backed out of my order. Just wasn't happy with it. And I went on to order other things that make me very happy.

No, I don't think they wanted to press it:sneaky:. But not hard to check, Ive had that c/c account for over 21 years:confused: easy to check.

Mech squonkers: there's nothing wrong if someone doesn't want to use them, but auto firing is not a real mech squonker issue. The circuit only closes if you push the button, forcing the positive contact to bend in and touch the 510 connector. (The og Pulse has an encapsulated spring/silicone cone assembly button, not user maintainable. This is not standard for mech squonkers, but Mooch's testing indicates it's a pretty reliable approach.)

Sealing: 100% silicone caulk works well for many things. For items on the eliquid feed path (e.g., sealing a squonk bottle), I use something that's specifically for food/water contact:
https://www.amazon.com/Grade-Silicone-Sealant-Adhesive-White/dp/B01F9HCISU

Drivers license: my name, DOB, and address are out there. My actual drivers license ID number, and more particularly the little document number in the lower right corner are sensitive information, can be used to perpetrate identity theft. It's similar to I don't post my social security or passport numbers. Also, if you're ever asked to send a photo of things via e-mail, that's a non-secure path.
They did ask for it to be sent via an attachment to an email.

And it's not just squonk mechs I'm uncomfortable with but all mechs. I like having that protection.

Just did a tally of everything, including Dad's stash and everything that's in shipping including the 5 Wotofo Serpent Elevates I just ordered.

    I have:
    29 Mods
    39 Sub Ohm tanks
    25 RDA/RTA
    8.5 liters of nic
170+ boxes of drop in coils
    400 or so pre-built coils

Mods is looking a little low comparatively. Will probably put in another fasttech order for pre-built coils.

What's so special about that Squid mod @*RJ* I've heard a lot of good about it but not really details. Looks like it's built like a tank.

I only had this happen once, and it had nothing to do with buying any vape equipment.
So, I'm thinking that this may become the new standard for sites that require a "for sure" ID,

I don't think so. Many of them subscribe to a service that scrapes your public data to confirm your age. I've never been asked for a DL and photo yet. I'd have to really want the item to do that.

That's why i mentioned my one hard fail auto fire was a "high end" regulated mod [emoji3]

If you are looking for a cheap one, vapenw has the Aspire Pegasus 70W mod for $12.99 Aspire Pegasus 70W Mod (other places are still retailing these for $35+, $64 at fasttech in a kit with a Triton mini)

You don't need it, but they also have a fancy shmancy charging dock for it there for $5.99 Aspire Pegasus Charging Dock or you can get one here for $2.99 Aspire Pegasus Charging Dock

I got three of them for my stash and 1 charging dock just for fun.

I went and checked my CC's just to be sure nothing is compromised, and all is ok. Made payments on everything too! So I am just looking for odds and ends now. Picked up more vape bands at FT and another KF 2019 in 24 mm, I only have 22's so far. Got a few more coils. That's about it!

My son just called to ask why is my mod making a noise and making vapor. WHAT?!?! It was the Luxotic on the kitchen counter. And I'm at work. He couldn't get the back panel off. Not sure if he knows what he's doing or if it somehow melted together (?). I told him to throw it in the backyard as far away from the house as he could. Dang! That has never happened to me before. Scary!

that happened to me with a different pen type mod. Fortunately I was home and sitting there when it happened. And the ten sec cut off failed so I don’t put a lot of faith in “overseas” protection.

    hope everything is ok.

IMG_1239.JPG I decided to photo document my stash, easier for me to look at a photo than dig thru everything. These are my other non KF rebuildable tanks. 8 Berserker's stacked up plus others. I think I'll do this for RDA's and drop in coil tanks too. Then pack them back up again :)

Good Idea. I should do this too, I'm so disorganized right now. I need to set aside a day and get a sealing case or three, organize, and take pictures/make a list.

OH...the CC thieves are alive, well, and apparently getting more active! Was at the Tax Collector's office to pay the property taxes on 3 properties, and my CC wouldn't go through! I was shocked! I wanted to pay using it because I'd get the airline miles. I pay my card off every month anyway, so I'd pay no interest to use it.

While there, I called my bank that issued it...and a frauulent purchase had gone through on it only 1 1/2 hours earlier. $229.30 had been put on my CC at GearMusic.com. Told them it wasn't me, but to please unblock it for my taxes payment to go through. They did it, and then shut down/closed the account and can't get a new CC to me until Friday.

@BigPappa - I'd be interested to know where your most recent purchases were made with yours...when it got hacked. Can you PM me? Maybe if we compare notes...we'll have some idea who/where to avoid in the future.

I just got a fradulent charge on my card for $564.44 for Universal Studios. Other than Amazon, I have only used that card to purchase vaping stuff over the past two months. Let me know if that happens to any of you because we all tend to purchase from the same places. The only fishy thing I had was for askvape.com who also own a headshop Online Head Shop | Smoke Cartel - Free Shipping on Bongs, Pipes & More where they never shipped the item and would not reply to emails or phone calls and then a week later the site went offline so I charged it back.

Other than that place, I have only ordered at the places multiple people have in this thread.

He said it in the above post where he thought it came from.

Good idea for insurance documentation. I have quite a few “expensive” stabwoods in my collection and have everything documented and on 2 clouds just in case.

Just once for me, scanned and blacked out what they don't need - like the D/L#. Yeah, too easy for the crooks to swipe your ID if they have that.

While many vendors do use the web scraping outfits for age verification, maybe it's too costly for the smaller, lower volume shops?

Good your CC provider was on top of it, JC!

I have been tackling one thing a day. Yesterday I did Kayfun's and today other RTA's. Maybe tomorrow I'll do drop in tanks. The key is don't overwhelm yourself LOL! Baby steps :)

I can make you a list in the morning (early). If I forget, just pm me. (I am done for the day and on my phone right now... will be easier to do on my notebook tomorrow.).
