I'm hoping to hold out until at least after Xmas. I am trying to be realistic. I know I won't quit buying completely but I'd like to at least stop buying for a month.
Since the end of September, my all time record was 4 days, that happened only once... but during that time I was lining up purchases, just had not bought anything because I had a goal of 4 days. smh

Somewhere out there
Even though I am mainly focusing on using up all my built-in battery mods before using my good mods (so they don't just sit and die in my stash), I am also using one of my Solos because I have a handful of 18650's I also don't want to go to waste. So I split my usage between 2 built-ins and the Solo. I have not been using the Solo that long (and, as I mentioned, it's time has been split with 2 other setups) and noticed the paint on the fire button is already coming off around the edges. Mine is the Black one. Anyone else having this happen?
I'm using blue/red Solo and no problems with fire button loosing color, but mine looks like rainbow color on the buttons.

Thanks! I broke down and got one. I have been buying 3 of every mod/tank for my stash, but I just got one of this with just a 2nd set of coils. Not crazy about the color, but the price is right, hell it was fantastic! Plus the idea that it may be compatible with other coils I have was what pushed me over the edge thanks to @markfm ;)

I think that the reason I could not view it properly on my phone using Chrome was because the page had an age verification pop-up that was not showing up on my phone, but did when I used my notebook.

@markfm , what ohms did you get? .2 or .5?
I went 0.5 for use on mechs, since I don't know how accurate their coil resistance is.

No paint coming off mine. But I've seen pics of them on here with paint wearing off all the painted metal parts. You can get replacement trim parts, don't think I would bother myself.

I can live with it, I was basically just curious.

I've got the blue green out, used a fair amount though it's now used as a build platform (setting up coils to use on the Armor Prime).

The finish is still good, on both the fire and up/down buttons.

Overall mechs are pretty much don't-care for environment, that's why I use them when doing messy outdoor things. Mine all have open battery venting, but there's just not much to go wrong with a mech.

While not a true mech (it has a protection circuit), I'm continuing to enjoy the Armor Prime. It's been rock solid, the brass finish is nice (it's a brass mod), and it's running nicely with the Elevate RTA. The real win for me is the side fire button; while I have some classic bottom fire tube mechs, I really prefer a side button.

I ordered 2 Armor Prime's from FT for BF. Sounds like my kind of mech.

For mechs I still swear by my REOs. Nearly indestructible. They do still turn up in the Classifieds now and then. Though unless it is being sold with an atty steer clear of the Standard versions. They take a very narrow diameter atty that can be VERY hard to find these days.
