Not long after I got my first REO a local tatoo parlor/porn palace/head shop advertised they had vape gear. Now this was before there really were any vape shops within 100 miles of here. So I went in there one day. I went to check out what they had since I had only ever internet ordered vape supplies. Here were a bunch of young 20 somethings going on about blowing clouds on their ego's with CS5 tanks. I heard a few under the breath comments about the grey haired lady trying to be younger than she was. So I pulled out my REO which was set up with a .7 ohm coil and blew a cloud that put them all to shame. Expressions on faces were priceless as I walked out.

Well that is easily the best Cliff’s Notes version of that mod I’ve ever read! Thank you! It has been a mystery to me, despite my attempt to wade into the Billet thread. After about two pages I gave up.
I've been wanting one since before there was a clone of it. When I first was looking in to them they were really designed to be used with cartomizers and were a glorified carto tank with the tank being internal. They have come a very long way since then and the SXK clone put them into the financial picture as the legit ones are WAY out of my league.

OK so I'm looking at a Billet Box, for the first time ever, wondering what I'm looking at. It's not a squonker like I thought, it has a battery slot and another slot for what looks like a tank? Does the tank go inside the box?
yes the tank is inside the box. Think of it as a highly customizable pod device where the pod is the tank and the "bridge" is the device inside the tank that contains either a drop in coil or your rebuildable unit

Edit with the Haku Xeta Bridge built at .6 ohm and run at 12.5 watts the flavor is fantastic and I go all day on a battery

Hey all,

Just an FYI, I was having trouble with hot spots on my Wotofo Profile mesh builds (probably not impossible I was having trouble using my own cotton rolls instead of the premade Wotofo cotton wicks - I have at least 90 on the way from FT) so I placed the premade .3 coil that came with the Profile in the deck instead and so far I’m having a lot of luck with it. I have a ton of the mesh coming and already in my build box, but I will save it for a rainy day when it’s all I have left.

All in all, I am reminded why squonking it truly *a* superior vape (if not *the*, as everyone is different) but I am just enjoying the heck out of it.

No reply from Armageddon MFG, but I realize the order only shipped 11/18, so maybe I will cool my jets for a while. Just nervous because it’s my first order from that vendor.

A big package from FT (“big” for me = more than a $12 set of RDAs) should be here Thursday, which I am very excited to receive. I will be interested to inspect the clone of the Profile.

Really, I ought to take out, list, and deeply consider the lifespan of each of these RDAs I have stocked. The Avocados and Griffins from 2016 I have stocked with a ton of replacement parts, glass, o-rings, etc. Plus they are built well to begin with.

What I am unsure about is the longevity of the $7-$17 RDAs from FT I keep buying based on good recommendations here. So I need to take stock, assess o-rings, give each tank a number, and then determine if I have enough. Mods, I’m almost sure I have enough of right this minute, if each one lasts a single year I’m good for 20+, of course, Lord willing.
I ordered from them three times. Probably got a little swamped as word got out (aka, ECFers buying everything up). My last order took a few days longer to get here (came last week). Plus, USPS always gets backlogged by a vacation day. I bet it gets here soon.

Even though I am mainly focusing on using up all my built-in battery mods before using my good mods (so they don't just sit and die in my stash), I am also using one of my Solos because I have a handful of 18650's I also don't want to go to waste. So I split my usage between 2 built-ins and the Solo. I have not been using the Solo that long (and, as I mentioned, it's time has been split with 2 other setups) and noticed the paint on the fire button is already coming off around the edges. Mine is the Black one. Anyone else having this happen?
Not I. Been using it for only a couple of months, though.

Good advice. If you want a Reo best to get an LP (Low Profile) version of the Grand which takes up to 22mm attys (just) or get a P67 which will comfortably take 24mm. The Reo Mini 2.1 LP takes up to an 18mm atty and matches up well to an Origen Little. You can get the Little clones on FT very cheap.

"My" BAD
. . .

Yes - it should have said . . . I DO NOT Sub-oHm . . . I just use 1.0 oHm or better coils - MTL Vaper here . . . Like "My" Signature says:

I AM A TOOTLE PUFFER

Good Idea Thanks for the information & suggestion . . . However, I Don't NEED, but at that price I was just wondering if it would be actually worth it . . . I think I will pass on getting one . . . Just Sayin' . . . :D

.
It's a great price for the Colossal alone.

Lot of places sold out on Solo kits. The only place that has a wide variety of colors is Vape Bargains for $38 for a kit after their BFCM5 code for 5% off. Actually I take that back ejuices.com does as well with a lower price of $31.50 per kit after coupon BFCM37.

Why did I look... now I'm checking out with two kits and free shipping. Go get the rest lurkers!

Sometime next week I'm going to have a mountain of BF/CM purchases.

As for squonking being the perfect vape I would add one thing. I am finding I love the SXK billette box with the SXK Haku Xeta deck in just as much. It does have a bit of a learning curve. ie it took me 3 very messy tries to get it wicked right. Once I did it has been flawless.
I really wish I'd found a good sale on the SXK 60w BB clone + rba's this weekend. I've wanted that since it came out. At least I found my squonk happy place finally, took years, but it was worth it.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have all the hardware I can use for at least 10 years if I take care of it all. Over half of it is still sealed in the retail packaging. I have 25 mods, 20 RTAs and a bunch of replacement parts and spare parts to fix them (but not as many as I would like).

Worried about eliquid/nic base. I'm just now getting into DIY and just ordered a starter kit & some nic base from Heartland vapes. I don't really want to DIY, but I have no choice so I may as well get started now.

I vape about 10ml a day (trying to cut that down) and I use 18 mg but also need to cut that in at least half.

I worry about nic base, which I know will be banned for consumer sale at some point. For now, I have a little over 1 liter of 100mg PG nic base coming to me, but will probably order more come the new year.

My biggest fear is being able to store it. I only have room in a very old spare freezer and when that breaks, I'm done. No money to spend on another freezer. Times are very tough. Hopefully this changes soon.

I bit the bullet and simply ordered one. I have waited years to get one and knowing we wont be able to get anything before to long it was sort of now or never. I got the SXK BB, spare glass, spare tanks, spare Orings, and 2 Xetas for about $200. Once I got it an liked it I ordered a 2nd SXK BB (in purple this time), more spare parts and a few more bridges. But I think I am set for a long time with it.

For many years I had 3 unicorns I was chasing and really had no hope of ever getting. A REO Woodville (Which ended up being gifted to me a few years ago). a Provari Dragon (Which through the kindness of an ECFer I now have) and the BB.

With all that I've spent at this point, I should have done that by now too. I'm tempted to, but I'm going to hold out until close to the first of the year. If it's not an option at that point, well at least I have my squonkers and rda's, I still have 14 new ones to try, so I'll be ok.

These past three months have been crazy, I don't even know what all I have at this point. Maybe tomorrow after I get home I'll start going through things and making a list/organize it all.

It is like a highly customizable pod device from before there were pod devices. Small, solidly built, replaceable battery, wide range of "bridges" that take anything from drop in coils to self contained rebuild decks. The SXK clone comes with the bridges for Nautilus coils and Kanger subtank coils as well as a subtank style rebuild deck. The Haku Xeta is a separate purchase rebuildable.

Because it is so small and convenient and the vape can be customized it is no wonder people love them.
I wonder if you can still use a punched carto in it. I remember them way back with the carto inside :)

I don't see why not. I know you can use a Diver v2 in them from my readings on the subject

Edit: I have not actually tried it though so that is the caveate

I have a Sophia that may work in it. Just have not gone that route :)

I enjoyed watching the video and that reminds me, I have Kanger subtank minis stashed, now I know how to build them :)
YAY! GLad that helped you. BTW that tiny screw on the side he complains about losing. You do NOT need to remove it to get the tube off. Just loosen it. ;)

Edit: I had about a dozen subtank minis and extra parts in my 2016 stockup. So I did a LOT of building on that deck. FYI the NEBox uses the same deck if anyone has any of those around. I have one still running from 2016 and 2 still in shrinkwrap. Ended up long term not being a fan of the things. Hot leaky mess (The NEBox)
