So I got everything in my vape cabinet from three paper boxes and my kitchen island. Then I realized I have stuff in my china cabinet AND my TV cabinet. Tons of stuff. Not sure it's all gonna fit. Once I figure out my flavors, I think I can do it. We'll see. I may just have to keep my flavors in my kitchen island like before. Too many flavors! But this is all I can do tonight. I'm considering getting the smaller cabinet that is just like the taller one for DIY. :sneaky:

    @BigPappa - You're right, of course [emoji106]

Same concept - pull the leak part, dry things if they're already wet (use high proof drinking alcohol, not isopropyl, on the actual pin and hole), smear the food grade silicone sealant on the barrel of the part, push it back in, give it time to set.

I'd go for the silicone first, loctite if the silicone fails. It's a pretty decent sealant, I've had zero leaks on squonk bottles when using it.

Here's the food-safe Silicone I use for sealing things:
    https://www.amazon.com/Grade-Silicone-Sealant-Adhesive-White/dp/B01F9HCISU

From the looks of it, unscrew the little screw/bolt where the leak occurs, apply that silicone (on the screw threads), screw it back in, give it a day to set.

(I don't have a luxotic. The Silicone I linked to is what I use to seal air inlets on squonk bottles.)
Got your pkg yesterday, Mark:) Thank you so much. Really missed the smell of coffee though..............

I just transferred the husband a bunch of dough so I can not spend it on useless things. LOL. Well not useless, but unnecessary.

BOTH the mother in law AND my mother rememberd it was the Husband's birrthday today.

Did I? Nope. But, he said the moeny was like a bitrhday preesent :lol:.

OMG, this was better than last year, dude. He announced my forgetting of his brithdday AT my Work Christmas party. It was like, not cool at ALL. Not even a tiny bit. God, I was like the birthday Christmas GRINCH or something.

Yeah, he's a jerk. Or maybe I am the jerk. I forget everyone's birthday, but I sort of don't believe in calanders either. Sigh.

This year, I remembered the newphew, but I had to send a corresponding gift card to the niece that stated she deserved a gift because if I had not fogotten her birthday YET this year, I was sure to in the future.

My mom is easy, she's 9/11. I like to pretend when I call and gift it is my increasing maturity level, not the fact that it is 9/11. I don't think she is buying it, but she pretends to do so, LOL. My oldest brotherr was ALSO born on 9/11 but I don't "remember" him ever, as far as I'm concerned, that dude was the WORST gift my mom ever GOT. GOD. If THAT were my first kid I would have had my tubes tied immediately. Forceps delivery. Something went a ltitle wrong, not sure what.

I would fix it first. That is what I am doing. Not only do I not want to take the chance but apparently liquid gets under the silicone (or plastic?) overlay of the fire button which is what causes the autofiring. Drying that out once it gets wet will be difficult.

Also, this is not a mechanic mod. It does have some electronics and built-in protections. Although I question the 10 second cutoff based on the autofiring issues melting some people's drip tips...etc..
It's not a mech but it is unregulated. Has a chip I think it's called a mosfet chip but I'm not 100% on that. And yeah I had heard about the auto firing and the melting issue so I would have to agree with you about that 10-second cutoff maybe isn't the best.

From my understanding most of the people that had the Auto fire were the same people that had the leakage so it might of twacked the chip... Yep looks like I'll be fixing it before I use it. :) thanks

Oh I just saw that you explained why it was causing the auto fire...thanks

I had leaking inside the box with the electronics. I siliconed the outside of the pin without removing it, that worked for a little bit but it leaked again after a few weeks. Taking the pin out and sealing it into the hole is probably a better solution.
Thank you.. yeah that's what I'm going to do. I have some super glue like high-quality super glue not Dollar Store stuff even though I suspect it's the same thing it's just a label change LOL mine says food safe on it I don't know exactly how super glue can be food-safe but it says that it is.

Are there any electrical or other issues with the Squeeze I might not know about? Is there another protected or regulated squonk mod with the same outside dimensions?

Last Spring I decided to get some Pico Squeeze, and a couple of Cathulu 1928's, my first venture into squonking. (photo below) The setup was leaky for me so, finally, got another rda and no leak issues so far. I added a Pico silicone sleeve and my prefered drip tip, Derringer style. The original Pico is my favorite form factor. This set up gives me a stealthy setup that won't need dripping during a long drive.

I also got a 24mm Berserker tank with a 4 ml etension setup and then realized I wasn't finding replacement glass. But there is replacement glass for other tanks that appear to be the identical dimensions so next order will have some of those, will see what happens. All the above from FT.

My impression, watching on twitter, Trump has figured out that interfering with access to vape products could create millions of ...... off voters who could turn in to political wrecking balls, so appears he's put a hold on things for now.

I am retro vaping today. Protank (1.8 ohm coil) on a provari 2.5 at 3.7 volts. It is a delightful change from my usual sub ohm builds. Really enjoying it. Nice change of pace.
I don't have a Protank, but a 1.7 or 1.8 ohm coil and 3.7 or 3.8 volts is right where I like to be. Although my mech with a fresh battery is welcome to join me there too. I ask it to leave when its battery gets down to the high 3.7 low 3.8 volt level though.

yeah... one video I saw, the guy tore his apart basically destroying it, but liquid had gotten under the rubberish overlay of the electronic button.

I'm not quite to the point where I want to use unregulated mods yet however what I want to know is have any of you had any leaking issues where the Ejuice leaks into the box where the chip is. It's apparently a really common thing to happen and I want to know if I should preemptively fix it or if I should wait to see if it leaks before I go to fix it?

I would like to not have to take it apart to clean it out if it does leak. But if y'all aren't leaking then maybe I'll just take that chance. I know it was a little while ago but if anyone had experience with it specifically the resin one I would really appreciate it.

    Thx
I havent used mine yet. I plan to premptively fix them first when I get a torx kit and some of that loctite stuff.

Mike - I haven’t been able yet to catch up in this thread to see what others have to say about your question - I, personally, would perhaps look to another RTA that is meant for MTL - that being said, I think it does come with a part meant to fit a smaller drip tip, and since it is so easy to build and is truly leak-proof, there is no reason why you shouldn’t try. I prefer a slightly restricted DL at around 40-44 watts on any RDA/RTA and have been over the moon with the Serpent Elevate and would not discourage anyone from trying them out. On the Wotofo website after shipping mine come to about $27. They are about $25 on FT.

I guess I did discourage and then encouraged! Lol. Silly me.

@MikeE3 - Have you looked at the Brunhilde MTL RTA, $30 at vapesourcing (though there may be a wait on stock)?

Vapefly generally does well with their MTL offerings (I use them with airflow cranked open all the way for restricted DL), and it has 5ml capacity.

Thanks for the tips folks. Any tank that comes with an 810 drip tip makes me leary setting it up for MTL vaping. That was my concern about the Serpent.

Mark ... the Brunhilde looks OK for MTL ... I'm just not a fan of big high capacity tanks. My KFLv5's fit that niche of my vape stash just fine.
