I have not done mine yet... so I am just shooting from the hip here... but by filling the hole, you didn't fill the actual 510 connection right? (essentially clogging it?)

Besides if what you ordered was manufactured after 8/8/16 it is not supposed to be sold/imported anyway.
Also, did you squirt some alcohol in and around the fire button? Some of the liquid probably got trapped between the plastic piece and the electronics and that was what was causing yours to autofire.
Minor correction to this.
It is not "manufactured after 8/8/16." It is "on the market before 8/8/16." It can be manufactured after that date as long as it was on the market before it. Now it all goes off the market pending PMTA in May anyway.
No idea, but I only used a drop or two. It’s so tiny. I have a feeling the loctite was just sitting there and the action of putting the pin back in forced some inside but probably not enough to clog it. We’ll know tomorrow. Ceramic tweezers for the win. Tweezers were perfect for holding the tiny pin to put it in the hole. I also used the other end of the tweezers to press the pin back in. If the pin won’t come out easily with a non squonk tank, try another non squonk tank. The loctite is all around the pin as well. I have the luxotic sitting upside down so it stays near the pin and doesn’t run down into the backside. I’ll take a pic later.
I have 6 in transit and 2 that have not shipped yet, but customs should not be an issue for vaping imports until May anyway. Any law would take some time before it was enacted (at least that is what most people thought until this recent FDA move with the age of vaping/smoking). But also keep in mind that customs would not have their eye out for "filters" which apparently is all that fasttech sells. lmao! It would be a random inspection for them at least until they eventually get flagged.

I hope you're right. Wouldn't be unusual though for them to skip our area. I just wish I knew for sure it wasn't coming. I don't like to leave packages in the mailbox overnight.

That's what's concerning me the most is with a government that for now many years has governed by executive order and is now bypassing typical things that were set in place like waiting 30 to 90 days before the beginning of a change in law. Now it's just knee-jerk this and need jerk that executive action this executive action that. And it's not just this Administration it's been trickling in for a while. At the very least it is setting up a very dangerous precedent.

I'm sorry that you're having this issue but I'm glad that I'm not crazy. Here's one thing and this is something that I didn't know but it turns out it didn't make any difference in my case but it might in yours. You need to put a non squonking tank with a somewhat protruding 510 in it before you try to take the pin out. Now initially I didn't do that but then I did it because I couldn't get a grip on the stupid device. I had no clue it needed to be in there but it relaxes and takes the pressure off of the hole so theoretically the pin should come out

Now assuming you didn't warp the pin when it does come out or if it comes out you're going to need to get a metal nail file or some sandpaper and modify the pin before you stick it back in with some sort of sealant. It's a pain in the .... but it does work[/QUOTE]
I am not surprised the FDA would take this as immediately enforceable. The flavor ban seems a moot point now that only adults can buy flavors, I don't know why they would have their knickers in a twist over flavors for adults.
