I stopped at the b&m by mom’s in Birmingham last visit. Nice shop with high end gear. I was the only customer at the moment, so I asked about their plans for post deeming. They looked at me like I had two heads. They’re going to be in deep trouble. There’s already a cbd boutique next door, and it’s not a head shop friendly neighborhood. I get that there are vapers not knowing or not wanting to believe it, but if I sunk my savings into something I’d sure as shooting be keeping up with the industry news!

I got 3 of the gold and a bunch of other stuff. They are in my mailbox right now, but I am going to wait till tomorrow morning to sneak out to the mailbox to get them before my wife wakes up.

It wasn't so bad the past few months getting stuff because the mail would be delivered like an hour before my wife got home from work... but she is off for Xmas/New Years vacation so it's a little more tricky getting my vapemail. lol

Dont remove that little gold pin to super glue into place,,,,,, super glue/ silicone/ jb weld Over it! That is a key to lock the 510 into place,,, this is a failure of the engineer who designed the mod

If you remove the pin you are trusting fate that you can re-install it perfectly within micro millimeter

The one I had here kept up with it. Doesn't mean they told customers but the owner and I discussed it often between 2016 and a couple months ago when they shut down. It was the bad publicity from the illnesses and the Trump Sept 11 announcement that killed their business. As the owner put it to me their sales dropped 70% overnight. It's a small town so their operating margin wasn't all that huge to begin with. He just couldn't in the face of the situation sign a new lease for several years when he couldn't break even.

Someone else went with silicone/glue over it and it did not last long... All of the videos for the fix have the pin being removed. I wish I had someone who could weld it.

Its a bad design,,, the hole never should have been there,, they used a cheaper 510 with a bad design likely to save 2c

The other vapemail today was more mm510 locking collars from SkullKandy. It turns out they make different versions, the original batch sent was a different design (fully functioning, just not what Ihad asked for).

Net, I now have 16 mm510 looking collars.

Here's the green revenger x. I did change the 510 driptip to one of the Teflon ones I get from ft - the ultra widebore tip with the kit seems silly to me.

I went back to get more of the gold but they raised the price of the gold by 2 bucks. The green is the same price though.

I am suspicious that there may have been machine oil in that area,, just a drop,, just enough that a patch over fails as well.. hard to know at this point as I have completely gutted the mod now--- attempting to Frankenstein him back to life now.

On the Frankenstein issue for others attempting this,,, this mod is cast,,, which includes a a block/shelf that supports the 510 fixtures,,, it needs to be removed for most replacement 510s. We used a small reciprocating saw (normally used on trim work for us)--- metal blade.,, This removes most of the material,, I am spending more time on this than you would expect,,, but thats because I am trying to use parts / parts of my bone yard rather than buy new fittings.

Concerning 510 fixtures to buy,, with this mod I would have to concentrate on skinny lock nuts / area,,, this wouldn't be an issue if the cast design wasn't there at the 510 location- I would have been done hours ago! -- no biggie,,, watching tv & messing with this is good learning experience for a completely dif diy mod I want to make.

Why am I messing with Frankenstein this Luxotic? , Found it was nearly perfect for my hand! If I can get it right,, to me it would be a mini Reos P67-/ Pico'ish--- last nearly forever,, buy more doors or pour another resin door
