Article title says it all: Trump administration to ban sale of most flavored e-cigarette pods, while largely sparing vape-shop products, senior official says

Menthol and tobacco flavored to be left alone.
Quite ridiculous since the deeming will change it all.

Juul pulled all flavors except tobacco and menthol already. So they raised the age to 21, are banning all flavored pods, but what about the deeming in May? I don’t like any of this whatsoever. I find it ridiculous and as an adult who smoked for 30 years legally, I should be able to vape anything I want.

That is the thing isn't it. We are between a rock and a hard place. It is all gone in May.

Now with this move the only stuff likely to be able able to get through PMTA (ie pod devices) will be banned. Yeah it is a compromise on the surface but really it doesn't change much of anything. Therefore safe enough even for a politician. It looks great to the uninformed masses. Can be claimed as a throwing us a bone. Still gets them where they want to be with meddlesome vaping gone.

I stocked up a few years ago figuring I could get through ten years easily. But now all four of my kids are on the free vaping road which took allot of my tanks, mod supply and everything else. Went about 2 1/2 years buying nothing and still have lots nicotine wire but I had to replace 4 mods that were fired then put away again. I buy them out of clearance sections. Still pretty good with everything. But being in Canada I am not to concerned anymore. Did go through about 2 1/2 gallons of VG and had to replenish tons of mixes. But as I see Lightening Vapes is changing their name and taking out the word vaping, you will see flavoring companies do the same thing. I do have all my mechanical mods and six or seven drippers if they need pressed into action when I am in my 80s. Got a ton of old out of date stuff that I am beginning testing with high percentage nicsalts.

Wow, 42mg, how long did it take to get to where you are now? What increments did you use to step down?
I don't really remember the how and why. I just started lowering in 1-2mg/mL and almost 10 years later I am at 2mg at home and 5mg/mL at work (breaks). I really want to go to zero but I have anxiety/slight depression and this helps (nicotine).
