I think that would prove difficult for the FDA as they are more undermanned than CBP. The FDA's reporting shows a less than 2% inspection rate for imports. That's from 2012, the most recent data I could find and is specifically for imported foods. They have their hands pretty full with inspecting our imported foods and prescription meds. https://www.thepacker.com/article/fdas-report-shows-2-inspection-rate-imports

CBP randomly inspects packages. The sheer number of packages coming into the US makes it prohibitive to inspecting the contents of each. There are ~21,000 CBP officers for 328 ports of entry. Not all of those inspect packages. There are ~1,000,000 packages coming into the US daily. No where near enough inspectors.

I suspect CBP spends a good amount of their time looking at large shipments for illegal items versus looking at rather small vaping gear packages bought by any of us. If a scent dog (drugs/other), or scanner, doesn't mark it then it very likely passes through. CBP is looking to make the big bust. They won't get much news time with a package from FT with a mod, atty or vaping bits and bobs.
Thanks for the feedback. What source has the statistics you mentioned. I'd like to read more. I'll stockpile as though there will be interference with access to products but it's comforting to hope that I may still be able to get stuff from FT if necessary.

Thanks to others about the Pico X. There seem to be no closeout sales on it right now. I'm aware it's available from FT.

I sent them an email today saying that if I do not hear back, I am changing my review to 1-star and making it a negative review.

You mean a review on their site? Meh, they can just delete any review they want. Threaten them with negative social media reviews if you want to get their attention.

Could be...IDK. Be ready for a slightly hefty-weight package though, when they do deliver yours. The order I just got contained 134 boxes of various coils (some pretty weighty ones)...and it weighed a little more than 12 pounds. Of course, I don't know how light or heavy those Atlantis coils are in comparison. If they're lightweight, like boxes of Evod coils...your package shouldn't be too heavy.
I'm on it! ;)

I can be done. IIRC, back in 2010 or 2011 or so, US vapers were getting vape shipments seized by US customs operating under orders from the FDA, no?

No... Of course they could change it if it were on their own site. lmao

This was a Google Review, they cannot delete those.

That's what I heard. Didn't happen to me thank goodness but customs held my ft order much longer than normal.

Oooooh, that certainly is shady to pay for Google reviews. Last I checked, they already have a decent rating on Google and other rating sites. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else?

Maybe they are anticipating a deluge of bad reviews so they want to counteract them?

Just recently, my BestEcig order was in US customs for over a week. When I got the package, I saw they had labeled the customs form "Electronic Cigarette Vaporizer". lol It's the only thing I hate about them. However they do refund or reship if you have a customs issues. Unheard of from Chinese vendors.

But the package arrived untampered-with. I know it was not tampered with because they don't use bubble mailers, they wrap/roll everything in an ungodly amount of the very tough blue bubble wrap, tape it up really securely and very neatly. Looks like a big blue football, lol. Impossible to open without it looking like it was opened. In order to get to the contents, you have to slice through about 6 or so layers of thick bubble wrap.

My next order, they agreed to ship with something else on the customs form.

My birthday order came in from 8vape. Not bad for $27 shipped [emoji106]

The 0.5 ohm nx2 is quite nice in the fireluke 2, though it picks up a whistle if you close AFC too far. I'm running it with the hellbeast 510/810 adapter (I've got a bunch of adapters on order from ft). No noticeable breakin time required. Very good flavor at 34w on the tarot baby. According to the tb it measures spot on, 0.50.
