IME, the signature on file did not work for an adult signature package. They made me show my ID. Maybe other post offices do it differently.

Oh Well - I'll just have to wait and see then . . .

Hopefully it will work for some other peeps and help them . . .

Either way, it is nice to have the service available - I also have it for UPS/FedEx too. . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

FYI:
I just found out that USPS not only has "Informed Delivery" - Get Daily email notices of images that are of what letters/packages are being delivered to you every day

I noticed that Informed Delivery service last week. When I went to sign up for it, I was informed it was not yet available in my area. Bummer. :(

But it did say to check back every week because it may be available in the near future. So I guess this is a new service they are rolling out.

This discussion may explain why I had to sign for vape mail sent from England. It was sent by Royal Mail. It arrived in the US quickly, but then there was a long delay after it was handed over to the USPS. I assumed that it had to clear customs or something. When it arrived to me, a signature was required. This has never happened when domestic sellers send by USPS. Is that going to become a thing? Will it affect Fed Ex and UPS?

It may well become a thing. There is a bill in the Senate that would stop USPS from accepting ANY vaping products. I'm not sure, but I think it may also require adult signature if shipped from UPS/Fedex. Not good. :(

Yes, I can see this becoming and issue in the near future. They want to make it incredibly hard to buy vape, especially through the mail/internet.

I know UPS already has a shipping prohibition on Tobacco Products. I went to my local UPS hub to pick up a package about 4 weeks ago and there is a big sign hanging up that lists restricted products. Tobacco Products is on that list. I'm sure FedEx has the same policy.

I was there to pick up nic base from HeartlandVapes

YEP - I've had an USPS account for a number of years and Informed Delivery for over 2 years now (the only bad things is a neighbor put down the wrong apt number and I now see & get all her mail even though a change of address was submitted 3x's). AND - Today was the first I knew about having an Electronic Signature on file . . . SO - We'll just have to wait to see what happens, especially if I get anything "NIC" related that ask for a signature (be it an adult signature or not) . . .

Anyway - The other good thing is having an account with both UPS & FedEx - I get an email notification when something is coming to me even if I didn't order anything - even any "NIC" products . . .

OH YEA - BTW: Recently started getting UPS notices on delivery day with a link to a GPS detail about the delivery truck and where it is . . . Bet the UPS driver really enjoys that . . .

FYI: Just got confirmation email from USPS about the Electronic Signature . . .
Here is a copy of the main portion of email:

You have successfully enrolled in USPS Electronic Signature Online™.

With this new feature that is integrated with your Informed Delivery® service, you can:

  • Apply an Electronic Signature only to packages that ship via Priority Mail Express®, require Signature Confirmation™, or are insured for over $500.
  • Get packages delivered right to your mailbox once you've applied your signature.
  • Set delivery preferences for larger packages that don't fit in your mailbox.
  • Keep your Electronic Signature on file with USPS® for an entire year.

The way things are going, I doubt any laws are going to differentiate devices (both hardware and accessories) from Nic... heck, even just battery mods are labeled as nicotine and highly addictive. lol We will be signing and showing ID for lanyards and vapebands, if they are even permitted to be shipped at all.

If that's true, then my refund is a week overdue.
Credit card refunds do take several days to post no matter who the refund is from. Not sticking up for eightvape, their service sucks donkey balls, but their prices are pretty good.

Just heard from eightvape about my unfulfilled order. The iJoy exos are out of stock. They will be refunding me the $0.03 and shipping the rest of my order. I'm ok with that. I really just wanted the 100 boxes of coils (500 coils for $1!) and revenger x. :) But, if anyone knows where I can get an ijoy exo let me know. I didn't buy enough dropins for the tank I was going to use it on. And if there are none left, I'm ok with that too. I'll search for cheap coils when I have a chance. I'm so confused with all these latest orders I can't even remember what tank the exo goes into it. I think it's the NRG. Is the NRG on the revenger?

Last month I had one package from fasttech and also one from vaporl that required a signature, but no signature required on any of my shipments from either of them before or after that. The fasttech one was a warranty replacement, so that might explain that one, but the vaporl package was just random. But I agree with @Iron Molly , there is a bill or two on the floor that either want adult signatures with ID or to ban online sales altogether.

Yes, it goes with the NRG tank, it may work on others as well, but that is the tank I specifically got the exo's for. I only grabbed 3 of the exos, one for each of my revenger x kits... had I gotten more I would have shared with you. :( In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten a dozen or more, I am now kicking myself. :(

Aww that's very nice of you. But I'm OK with not getting one. I just wanted my coils! So I hope I get a shipping notice soon...it'll make me very happy!

Well that's IJoy's USA site so there *should* be no problem ordering there. But as you said, that price hurts for an RBA. Any RBAs I've bought don't sell for more than about $7.
The price only hurts primarily due to comparing it to what it was going for on eightvape (which was extreme)... the only thing that comes close to the deals at eightvape was the Melo RBAs and that was only due to a misprint.

$7?, I need to shop where you're shopping. lol. $10-$15 would seem reasonable had we not seen the price at eightvape. Many of us picked up multiples of the Hellbeast RBAs for 9.99 plus shipping.

I wish I had gotten more of the gold revenger x's (I got 3 of them and love them). I mainly ordered them for the tanks because they were so cheap, just so I had something to go with my iJoy Exo-S Single Coil RTAs
I was certainly relieved that the NRG tanks can accommodate normal 510 drip tips. Otherwise, they'd just be unused junk for me. They seem pretty good, although I haven't yet checked out the price on their atomizers.
