FedEx also. I was supposed to get a package delivered yesterday...now unknown.

It all seems to be random. Maybe it depends on whether a package is coming through an area where staffing is hard hit. I ordered a large bottle of bug spray last week. It shipped by Fedex and got from Texas to Indiana in 2 days. Another package came with UPS and stopped for 3 days at some depot along the way.

I expect it's a combination of staffing levels and increased volume of shipments with most people staying at home, ordering stuff.

Our mail is showing up about every other day. I don't think these shippers are finding any replacements as staff drops off either.

Could it also be that UPS and FedEx are also being used as shippers for the huge quantities of masks, gowns, etc. being ordered for hospitals, first responders, etc.? I'd be OK with any of my packages being delayed in delivery, because of that.

I only got mail twice last week. Not a surprise given my substation’s general work ethic.
I just checked my UPS shipment. Coming from Chicago to here (both hard hit areas). It’s scheduled for tomorrow on paper. I wasn’t expecting it til Thursday.

YEP - This past week received 2 packages from 2 different areas of the country that UPS delivered them within 2-3 days . . .I didn't expect to get either of them for a week, given the Ground "Shipped" notices I received . . .

Now USPS snail-mail is another story, regular Postal worker for years and is still being lazy - refuses to deliver any packages or Certified letters to apartments and has "Stuffed" everything into small mail box at times so Ya' can't even open the door . . . :censored: Well until he has finally been called out and a supervisor finally corrects the situation - until the next time .he thinks he can get away with it . . :-x

Where as when there is a "Temp" Postal worker on duty - like last week, she has brought packages to and left it at the apartment door . . . :headbang:

We love replacement postal workers - our mail arrives during the day instead of well after six.

    Somewhere between here and there
We had our mail carrier leaving mailboxes open in our subdivision. At first I thought it was just ours but saw others left open regularly. I finally submitted a complaint online and it hasn’t happened since then.

Almost the same here, usually doesn't show up until between 5PM - 6PM (there have been a few times he doesn't show-up until sometime after 7PM) . . . The worse part is that many of the other Seniors here start at 4:30 sitting at the benches waiting and just hoping for any mail at all (Sad situation . . . :( ) . . . Well that is until this week, although it doesn't affect "Me" - since I only get "My" mail usually once a week, Management sent out notices that No One can congregate at the postal area while the postal person is delivering the mail and done . . . If anyone is caught waiting there, they will remove the benches . . . NOT NICE ! ! ! :censored:

Oh - How I wish it was that easy around here - even a formal complaint in person to the Post Master didn't help . . . Matter of fact, the PM just marginalized and dismissed the problems that are happening here in our apartment complex . . . . :-x

Yeah, we got a notice too. No "congregating" allowed or they'll take out the benches. There are a few nice benches in "scenic" spots around the complex. They did remove all but one chair from the laundry room.
It's an over 62 apt. complex, private, not government.

USPS still delivering, I got my Nic River and vaporfi orders in good time. (cbd, I'm fully stocked on nic.)

Just went out for a little walk. Lots of others out. All staying 6 feet apart. Finally getting some sunshine!

I'm lucky. My local post office and postal carrier are great. Mail comes at about 11:30 - 12:00. Packages are left at my door or in my box. I receive and send lots of packages and they've never lost one yet. I cannot say the same for USPS in general though. I have a small Ebay and Etsy business. Between that and my vape mail, I keep my carrier busy.

I don’t know who the complaint goes to online but evidently it was someone important enough to get it taken care of.

That is my Heartland Vapes package that UPS is holding. It is 2 gal of VG and a gal of PG. Im out of VG but I was able to make enough juice to last me 8 weeks if I use this tank I am using now. Any holding beyond 7 weeks and I'll get antsy.

Personally, while I may strongly disagree with a lot that's been said and done as far as vaping restrictions, bans, etc. and the people who make those happen...it would never cross my mind to say/wish that any of them would catch COVID-19, nor that it would kill them. ;)
My wish for his demise has less to do with vaping restrictions and more about the people’s livelihoods that this man is destroying. If I thought he was just misinformed and genuinely believed he was doing the right thing I’d be able to forgive his ignorance. I have a hard time believing that this is the case though. So that leaves me with the belief that he is destroying people’s livelihood in an unprecedented time of danger when folks are worried about the safety of the people they love and now they are out of a job or a business they started with their hard earned money. For what? Why is this scum piling on people who, for the most part, started a business to help people extend their lives via the most successful smoking cessation product ever created and the people that work in these shops. These are good people getting screwed over for doing the right thing, a very noble thing. Earning a living while helping people, saving lives, and making the world a better place. On the other side is this scumbag ruining lives with the stroke of his pen. So I didn’t come to wish him a slow painful death without thought. The world would be a better place with less people like him.

So if he happened to catch Covid-19 and die a slow painful death my only reply would be “so what”. I’d just hope the selfish ..... kept it to himself.

If you get desperate, there's always the bottle of glycerin at Walmart or a drug store, typically branded Humco. USP, safe and works just fine in a pinch.

Sorry to hear that. Just so you know, this "held" thing is becoming common these days for shipments to larger metro areas but it seems many people are saying they do eventually get their packages (but I've seen a few say they get returned to sender for some unknown reason).

It all depends on a lot of different factors, I guess. Keep your fingers crossed. I have a feeling you'll most likely get it, it just might take a little longer than usual. These carriers are utterly swamped.
