The pulse 90 is the most durable mod I have and it's made of reinforced nylon. Absorbs impacts much better than metal which in turn protects the board, but it's not regular plastic of course.
Modern plastics are great. Imagine what an rda would look like without PEEK

Somewhere out there
Well I have to admit I haven't really been buying anything for quite some time. That let me save up some cash to do something I have always wanted to do. Today I put in my order for a lacemakers pillow and 3 dozen bobbins. I will be learning to make bobbin lace. 50 years later than my grandmothers wanted me to but better late than never. Had vaping not allowed me to quit smoking I would never have been able to afford this extravagance.

Time will tell what happens to vaping going forward. I will be quietly watching and getting active when I can with advocacy. It has been one hell of a ride since I first hears what was coming to vaping. Lets hope the ride isn't over yet.
Please show us your lace when you make something, that is an intriguing art.

Nowadays for travel I'd likely use one of my rebuilt Vpdam Leon mech squonkers and KRMA RDA or an Aegis Solo with target nrg/gt ccell and a vape band on the glass.

(The vape band is key. Traveling to Egypt several years ago I lost an STM glass on the outbound leg, and early this year I broke an NRG glass on a trip to CO. KRMA I don't sweat as it's just a chunk of stainless steel.)

I broke a kayfun tank on a trip to CO. I had to use packing tape to keep it together until I got home to AZ. I also cracked my phone on the same trip. What is it with CO? Is it cursed?

In my case it's sheet clumsiness [emoji3] In CO it was last day of the trip, and I had my Renova Zero that worked fine as a backup. Egypt was another matter; I picked up 2 POS pen style setups to get through the week, would sometimes drip on the STM head.

On a aspire facebook page they (aspire rep) stated they applied some of their products. I'm pretty sure the natuilus coil is one of them. It is pre-2016 as well. I have stocked up on nautilus products (different nautilus tanks including the GT and 4 aspire mulus). I have rba's for the mulus. I am also waiting for 10 more packs of the nautilus coils (just in case). I also have RBAs but prefer plug and play of the Aspire Nautilus for work.
Well, thank you for doing what I did not and looking! Just makes sense to me. My attitude was - and is - stock up as much as I feel lucky enough to use it and when it runs out, move over to the Brunhiles and later Kayfuns and other multiple RTAs I bought from recommendations here last year and earlier this year. (I have forgotten all the names of the stuff I bought - thankfully I labeled them and organized as they arrived!)

Lifespan for the .7 naut coils at 16-18 watts on sweet tobacco liquid is giving me roughly a week per use; sometimes I get really lucky and a coil will last two weeks, but I vape fairly constantly.

I get 3-4 weeks out of one coil. I make my own diy tobacco and do not use sweetener. If I vaped non flavored e liquid I probably would get a few extra days.

Unless some tobaccos pass the PMTA I’ll have to go that route, too (I am fully stocked on supplies to diy minus tobacco flavorings. I just haven’t researched enough to know which ones to buy and I do have a sweet tooth for eliquid.) I’ve got enough premade in the freezer to last through the new year. Naut coils are what got me off cigs back in March 2014 and I just think it’s hilarious that I use them daily now, and have been again for months, since I got my Billet Box.

It was my next to last day of the trip and I didnt want to hunt down a vape shop so I opted for packing tape. Lol

I am afraid I still travel with my penguins. Drop them. Put them back together. Clean the mouth piece and vape on. Big tank and good battery life. If I loose one I won't cry. Downside they are internal battery mods. Upside it took me 2+ years to kill the original pair. So I will be good with them for a couple of years.

I am liking the podstick I picked up. That might become my driving vape. Small and light but not so small that I can't get a grip on it. Easily can handle the mod and the steering wheel at the same time.

When the internal battery mods die off I will move back to a cheap replaceable battery squonker for traveling.

A general rule for me is the good stuff stays at home.
