Thinking I'll pick up one more haku riviera rdta clone. I'm not seeing any of the sxk (the 3 I have now, 2 in use and one backup) around at a reasonable price, but I'm still seeing the yftk clones.

For anyone who likes high flavor squonk rdta, 0.3 - 0.5 ohm single coil (I user 0.35 ohm txp 26 kanthal), this is simply a sweet topper.
Mark, I have an sxk in the stash if you can’t find one.

well I picked up a couple of BSKR V2 24mm MTL RTA (that is the Berserker)for use on the provari if it comes to it. I needed something I could easily coil at a higher ohm so the provari would take it. Last gap in the stash filled. Much rather build these tanks than rebuild protank coils LOL

Thanks for the offer - I already ordered a YFTK (it looks like another very good Riviera clone).

Probably time to winnow down the stash a bit. Get rid of some rda/rdta/rta/mods that are good but just don't fit my vaping style.

That takes me back. My wife used Pro Tanks until a couple of years ago. Luckily for me she decided she liked Nautilus better. I had 50 heads. Rebuilt them all at once and that kept me going for a long time. First day take them all apart and clean them in the UC. Dry the bits with paper and leave them overnight. Day 2 go through and replace any burnt insulators and rebuild them. That was a PITA job. A few years ago I started bulk winding coils. 20 at a time when I felt in the mood. I ended up with almost 300. I still have around 200 PT coils in a tin somewhere and a bag full of tanks. They were decent tanks and got me off the cigs but I don't miss them. Maybe my PT stash will be useful to somebody after the bans come in.

Wow, I just got some emails about no shipping of vape stuff, ouch! So how will vape survive this??

    Great seeing you!
I hate you are just finding out about this, so little time left to order more stash if you need to.
I'm doubtful much of vaping will survive. This vape shipping ban is just the beginning of what's to come over this next year really. It's an all out war and vaping is losing. Many Vape shops are already closing, the PMTA in September and if the WHO gets its way all open systems will become banned and If the American Lung Association gets its way all flavors including menthol will be banned.

Yeah I used to rebuild them also. Wait until I got a pile of them then rebuild them all in one shot. I have a fair stack of new protank coils stashed but wanted a backup of an honest to God rebuildable MTL for the Provaris. I figure my provari's will outlast me LOL. Same goes for the REOs. So most of my stocking has been of supplies for them. I do have other setups and will run them until they die. Then it will be back to the old standards from the early days.

Speaking of old standards, which I appreciate to this day, do you all think another modders forum will appear here? Since we might be reduced to DIY mods? What happened to the old modders forum btw?

Could be. But selling them and shipping them will be a risk. Gotta be willing to make your own mod.

However, if you don't have any 510 connections or any RDAs or RTAs, no use in making a mod.

I'd be willing to give it a shot, lol. In my 11 years of vaping, I have never thrown away a mod or battery. I could pull the 510 connectors from my mod graveyard possibly? I plan on teaching myself electricity and electronics basics, so I would have some idea hopefully what I am doing.

There are plans online for mech mods and mosfet mods if you search google. Also search google images.

I stocked many 510s from Fasttech for this reason. Everything else can be sourced stateside without issues.

Still have all my modders mods, from altoid tins to all wood and machined ones.

Not mine. Was posted on the Fasttech forum years ago. 18650 battery case...

I thought that about Provaris then 2 of them died on the same day. The button crapped out on one so I grabbed another from the stash and discovered the battery contact on the board had fallen off. I swapped the good button into the other mod so I only lost one. I still have 6 Silver Bullets, reckon those will last me forever. I use one regularly to keep my mech skills up.

I use KFLs on the Provaris. 1.2 coils. Same on the SBs. For the SB I ground down the outer neg ring on the tank's 510 so the positive sticks out far enough to be safe.

Between my variety of mods, tanks, rtas, rbas, parts, parts for parts, nic and... I feel well prepared going forward. I'm kinda old-er and not in best health with this crazy autoimmune disorder so

What I just hate is those after us will not have the same opportunity for THR.
