That is one upside of having already had the current plague. I have little fear of going anywhere. I still mask up but thats it. And now that Louisiana has OK'd vaccine for anyone over 16 I will be getting that taken care of soon as well.
I'm getting my vaccine Monday, hubby just got his second Moderna yesterday. He is feeling a bit flu like but not bad. Can't wait to get mine and get back to sorta normal.

I've had my first Pfizer, and the second one will be on April 6th. By April 20th, I will have all the immunity the vaccine offers, for as long as it lasts (yet to be determined). That doesn't mean I will be bar hopping, concert going, nor grocery store frequenting. It is not certain that immunity prevents a person from spreading the virus. This ain't over folks.
I just read an article that is showing vaccinated don't spread the virus or get the virus. But I'm still wearing a mask and sanitizing hands. I still wash all my groceries too. Now it's a habit LOL

I have plenty of DIY ingredients but I am really enjoying this Dinner Lady Blackberry Crumble. I probably should have bought an extra bottle to throw in the freezer. But I have flavors to make something similar that is also good :) I should do a DIY recipe search for it.

I won't ask for the source saying you can't spread the virus after you're vaccinated. That's not yet an established fact though. In the US, we're coming off of a too high plateau, and our new direction ain't downward.

It will take more research to convince me too. The variants out there are pretty spooky and I don't want to take any chances. A new surge is what we don't need.

I tossed my commercial eliquid in a plastic bin in the basement.

60 - 65 year round (sitting on the slab floor), little light, low humidity. The bottles all have use-by dates reasonably far in the future, should be fine for my expected consumption.

I did that back in August of 2016. After 2 years, my commercial juice started to taste like dirt and gunked coils like crazy. I had to dump cases of what I had left. :(

I asked about storage last week here:

He seems quite knowledgeable and backs up his opinion with some evidence. - Recommends refrigeration for flavors and of course freezing for nic.

When you think about it though it probably depends
- some flavors and mixtures may be more effected by cold than others. I've read other articles where vapers said cold ruined their juice.

My question being "vapeciga" has anyone used them recently I did do a search but I didn't see anything recent. And also is the envelope going to have vape and ciga on the envelope like a big letters to that custom surely knows what it is lol. Like I understand if it gets sent back or confiscated or whatever but I don't want it to be like so blatantly obvious that there's no way it's going to get through and just throw away the money Also is it a legitimate site

I only ordered from Vapciga once right at the end of Chinese New Year (this year). It took them 2 weeks to tell me that the item wasn't in stock and that it would take about a month for them to ship it. So I told them to cancel/refund and they did so pretty quickly.

Thankfully I was able to order the same item from Gearbest, but at a higher cost, of course.

It is true. It is different depending on the flavorings. I remember one manufacture who purchased a huge walk in freezer to store their juice and warned what could happen. They put all of their juice in the freezer and was horrified to learn that some flavorings are destroyed by freezing. They lost thousands of dollars worth of juice.

So the smart rule is to test out a small sample first. ;)

Just today I got my appointment for Tuesday for my first of the Moderna, kind of ironically at a grocery store pharmacy :) And I'm really glad that I managed to get it because I'm 39 and they're opening up to 18 and up on Monday and my appointment's on Tuesday so I will be eligible then but they let me go ahead and sign up today before what I would assume would be the mad rush of every individual 18 and up. I have no intention of really ever stop wearing a mask because I actually like it. I have a tendency to speak to myself so that I can keep my memory jogged and I get a lot less looks. I also really do enjoy the whole staying 6-ft away from people thing but I would like it to be by choice rather than by threat of possibly killing someone if I'm asymptomatic and sick

I'll always be wearing a mask in public. I should have been wearing one long before covid. Anyone who is immune compromised should and folks should have the right to wear one. In addition, so many people..so many germs. After this virus settles down I may step down to a regular medical mask instead of wearing a kn-95.

And that's the other thing like I am hyper aware of how many people have immuno deficiency issues and if I have sniffles and I think maybe it's allergies maybe it's a cold or maybe it's a virus and there's no way I would ever go in public again if I wasn't feeling well without a mask It's just kind of crazy that we never did that before like occasionally you would see someone but I feel like it's going to be more accepted going forward that when you're sick you can wear a mask without people looking at you strangely or thinking that you're trying to rob the place

If anyone still needs liquid nic I just ordered 2 more bottles from nicotine giant. After this, hubby and I will have 7 liters of nic in the freezer. Hoping between the premade stuff that we have and the nic stash, that we will be good for a long time. This feels like the end of an era........

Does Virginia have a eliquid/nicotine tax? Just curious?

Kristen posted this recently: (75.00 tax on 100 ml)

WEST VIRGINIA: (HEADS UP!) Proposed income tax overhaul predicted to get over 4X more revenue from the tobacco & low risk vapor products purchased mainly by low-mid income residents ($86 mil) than luxury items purchased by wealthiest residents ($20 mil).

For more on the ridiculousness of the 75¢ per mL vapor tax, read this article from Filter Mag.

"But tucked into the bill...is a hike in the e-cigarette tax, to 75 cents per milliliter. In other words, a 100 milliliter bottle would carry a tax of $75."

Supposedly $0.066 per ml - so that means only juice and possibly any closed device.

But I have found that you have to do your research because these "experts" are not always correct as to what is included in a state's vapor tax, ignoring things like court decisions as a result of lawsuits against the state.

Our local vape shop posted on their website that va has a 6.6 cent per ml on juice tax but didn’t say anything about devices at all. No one has charged tax on anything I have ordered, including the liquid nic from today, which has been everything but ejuice over the past few weeks
