I don't really know why I ordered the last 1 or 14 mods, I can only use 1 at a time.

I mostly bought stuff that I wouldn't allow myself to spend money on before like a handful of dna mods. I of course grabbed a few things just for fun too. I figured this was my last chance to get some of this stuff.

I hope we both like them.
I got my vertex today. I completely bungled the wicking like I'm looking in the port and there's cotton in one of them and not in the other because when I put it back together I guess it came apart. It's not the most intuitive way of putting it together once you put on the larger tank. But even so I bungled it myself I put that on me. But it's not leaking and it is vaping so I'm not entirely certain how it's not leaking all over the damn place It's only wicking through the channel that has no cotton in it lol But I think it's going to be a nice RTA I'm just going to vape the tank and then fix it lol. So I guess like from what I can tell it's going to be a nice little RTA and it's very damn forgiving because I can visibly see what's wrong now that it's back together and it is still working quite well not a hint of a dry hit lol and even more astoundingly not a single gurgle not any indication that there is any e-liquid other than on the wick in that bell

I still haven’t gotten mine. Should be soon though.

It's definitely got a huge variety of airflow I put it on the three little dots and have it on the largest hole and I'm getting what I would definitely consider a smooth restricted direct lung. And there's two other options I could use to make it even more airy. And the little revolver thingy on the inside it doesn't seem to want to pop out like it did in all of the reviewer videos where they were fixated on how easy it is for it to come out I literally sliced my nail open getting it to turn lol so whatever o-ring tolerance they have on there seems to be pretty good

A lot of times things like that are fixed after the reviewers find issues.

Is vertex up there as a high flavor restricted dl tank?
It's been marketed as a mouth to lung RTA that has the ability to do restricted direct. It has threeairflow plugs only they're all on one plug and you turn them to which one you want under your coil and then it has some different little holes in the airflow ring and then a dash which is fairly open. It is only one-sided air flow. there's another vertex out there by horizon I think that is straight direct lung cloud chase style.

stocking up? sure nicotine.. near nine years smoke free, not one cigarette in that time. Still buy the wife smokes, yet we manage, she has her vice and I mine. I been at 8mg. and have no intention of dropping my mg. Guess the 37 years of burning packs sort of got me addicted to the fix.
A few months close to finishing my 2016 100mg. nicotine from the freezer. Then I'll start breaking into the 2019 batch. Now, due to all the regulations looming have an order of nicotine being shipped.
I wasn't intending to restock at this time, but times have shown different.

PS.. I have been a ecig forum member since 2012. (Change of lost mail exchange address.)

The first time I went into a vape shop in early 15 I was buying juice on-line and ran out, had to grab some bottles. While I waited I checked out the displays and there was a big cabinet full of mechs. I had no idea what a mech was, shiny brass and other metals with fancy engraving and so forth. Beautiful stuff. Luckily for me they were all wildly expensive or I would probably have walked out with one. As ignorant as I was that might not have ended well.

Pray for me, I'm headed down that path to future-proof all of my gear.

I'm getting my vaccine Monday, hubby just got his second Moderna yesterday. He is feeling a bit flu like but not bad. Can't wait to get mine and get back to sorta normal.

I get my first shot on the 7th.

Good on you, especially if you are over 60!

The build deck is almost the same looking as the MD, which I really like for a tank. My MD has not leaked at all with a 3mm coil and cotton. I haven't tried rayon in it yet.

I think that they are directly related the MD and this I think this is like they're more restrictive version or they're updated version I don't have the MD but whenever you looked up the vertex you would see the MD so there's definitely like a relationship there

I've finished decanting my nic base into "2 ounce" glass bottles for long term storage, all 64 of them. Paying particular attention on the last liter, assuming it contained 1000 ml, each of those 2-ounce bottles has a capacity of 69ml when filled to the rim and should last me about 4½ months.
Let's see: 4.5 months X 64 = 24 years. So, I should run out when I'm 91. Of course, I could lower the nicotine content of my eLiquid and stretch it out to 100, LOL.
Now, to seal all of those little bottles with self fusing silicone tape. Good thing I don't have anything pressing to do tonight.

EDIT: I checked the capacity of one of those bottles using water and it came to 64ml. Hmmmm. Well, I just eyeballed the last bottle and guesstimated it was about half full. That probably accounts for the discrepancy.

Post EDIT: OMG, 64x64= 1.6 years less than 64X69...

I'm a 69 y.o. low watt MTL vaper & I've DIYed for 9 years, so I'm mostly done with mods, tanks, etc. (did ELeaf TCW 40 & Aspire tanks forever until SMOK RPM80 Pro showed up & I went with DIY salts).

I thought I was stocked up forever with nic base but just finishing up my 250 ml bottle of nic salts base as a test, and the U.S. PACT Act BS reared it's ugly head. So I just got a (final?) delivery of a gallon of 100 mg/ml salts base to tide me over until judgement day (maybe?).

Still haven't decanted my 1 1/2 gallons of non-salt base (a little darker now but fine, imo) so maybe it's time to dust off the glass bottles & maybe order some more for the final hurrah?
