DIY 0mg Isn't really relevant in all this. Because the FDA Can't prevent someone from doing DIY 0mg. We Know it. And the FDA knows it.

And what does it Matter if there is a 20% or 30% drop in Teen Smoking? You just Adjust the Tax Rate to account for the Shortfall in Tax Monies.

Isn't that what we are Seeing Right Now?
The high school smoking rate dropped by 35% in just the last two years!!!!! The tax accountants are hysterical over that. Suppose it continued to drop at 17% a year?

New York City learned that there are limits to how much you can fleece smokers. The last huge tax increase resulted in a loss of revenue. They need to keep high school kids smoking in order to balance the books and pay off those MSA bonds.

They will do everything in their power to control hardware and they have over 30 billion reasons to do that.

They did figure out how to fairly well control and tax the consumption of alcohol while leaving alcohol on every grocery store shelf. If they really wanted to they might do the same to PG and VG

But alcohol is alcohol wherever it's sold (and not every state allows all alcohol products to be sold in grocery stores), unless you're one of those few who use Everclear to clean your coils. PG and VG have so many other uses that restrictions or taxation would really mess up other industries. It would be like saying all grapes should be taxed as alcohol because you could theoretically make wine out of it. Whereas if they go after the retail sale of nic solutions such as all that 100mg nic in a base in my freezer, that cuts off vaping for ex-smokers pretty drastically, and doesn't affect any secondary users.

Sad to say but my homeowners insurance doesn't offer separate coverage for nicotine
I can't imagine it would. :unsure::laugh:
Honestly, a locked freezer isn't a bad idea, even if you don't have kids...
Just a thought, and yes, I'm getting a little extreme in the scenarios, but hey, who knows how this will all fall out.
Better to acknowledge things that could happen, and tuck it away in the back of your mind.

Frankly, I'm just tired of thinking about all this. It's so :censored: depressing. :(

...or stealing it from us.
Nah they don't get down like that. LOL ;)

neck beards will be replaced with neck tats
I can't walk around the corner without seeing a neck tat- hell, mine also is & it's huge. I guess some things aren't nowhere near as shocking to me as they'd be to someone whose not from my area. :sneaky:

When I posted that, I was really thinking about some of the...um, rolling lab types we have here in cornfield country. If you read the reports, they'll steal the goofiest things.
I honestly don't know how to equate what might really happen in a city. I should have been clearer.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you. The demise of vape shops will affect every segment- not just those you classify as such. Vapers kill me with the underhanded way they smear each other. It doesn't matter whether one prefers clouds over flavor & vice versa, we're all S.O.L. if none of this gets overturned.
I haven't denigrated anyone . I don't think you understood what I said. I have no problem with anyone, including kids blowing clouds. I'd rather see 20 kids blowing clouds than even one of them smoking.

And yes, the demise of vape shops will be very bad. Vape shops are critically important. But people will adjust to that injustice and that will result in an explosion of DIY as long as there is hardware to vaporize it. And kids will not be as reliant on vape shops. It is far easier to start vaping from scratch than to try to quit smoking

You're giving the benefit of blowing clouds to children- not to adult vapers who also enjoy clouds.
