I know there are some issues with Aspire, but I have nothing from Aspire in my cart. I get the same screen as zoiDman in all my browsers with nothing that should trigger no credit card acceptance. I'd prefer to just use my Visa but it won't accept it, even though it's already on file with them.
Have you enabled popups? I read in their forum that they were having some problems mid-late June, but I have bought since then. Maybe there is another item holding it up? If you put in a ticket you might miss the sale, try taking an item out and then proceed to checkout. You don't have to finish it, but it may give you a clue? Let us know.
:)

If you have Aspire items you have to take them out of the cart, then buy non-ASpire items, throw in a few more so you have enough $ to cover what you really want. Pay for all items, including the extra you don't really want. As soon as paypal clears, then cancel the order. It will give you an option of refund to pay pal or a gift certificate. Choose the gift certificate. It is immediate. They issue a refund onto a gift cert. Then put all the stuff you do want into the cart including the Aspire items and when you go to pay, use the gift certificate. I have had to do that a couple of times. It works, and is what is suggested to do.
Hope this helps.
:)

Love the Work-a-Round.

Won't even ask how you thought That One up.

BTW - I just tried buying an Aspire Tank.

Yep... The CC option was MIA.

Cool.

3mg Meniere is a Worldly-Wise Member. And a Wealth of Good Information.

Hey one thing to Note about buying things on FT with a Gift Certificate. And that is this...

Way back in the Day there was this new Tiny Mod (which shall remain Nameless) that came out that was supposed to be a "Game Changer". So I rushed over to FT and got one.

But after about 30 Minutes, I decided I wanted it in Silver (which was a 7 Day Wait) instead on the Black one I ordered (which was In Stock).

So I Cancelled the Order. And when that thing came up about the Refund vs. a Gift Certificate, I figured what was the Difference? I mean, the Price was the Same for the Silver vs. the Black One. And I was going to get a Silver one. I'll just do a Gift Certificate. It will be Easier and less chance of a Screw Up.

(You can see it coming Don't Cha? Anyway...)

So I got the Silver one and Life was Good. Until it shipped 8 Days later. And that was when Horrible Intial Reviews started Rolling in. I Mean, Auto-Firing, Circuit Board on Fire, Burn your House Down type Reviews. Yikes.

It Arrived and sure enough, it was a Hot Mess. Ohms were Way Off. Battery Dropped to 1/2 after a Couple of Hits. Had a couple of Auto-Fires. Back into the Box it went and it was Refund Time. Cause I wasn't going to Fool Around and get another one of those.

But Here's the Thing. When I told FT I wanted a Refund, they Politely Told Me that I Couldn't have one. And that the Only thing I could get, since I purchased the Mod with a Gift Certificate, was either an Exchange or another Gift Certificate.

So we went Back-n-Forth-n-Back-n-Forth-Back-n-Forth-Back-n-Forth-Back-n-Forth. And Finally I just said Screw It. Give me the Damn Gift Certificate. Because by then, a Newer "Game Changer" Mod had come along. So I got it.

So I learned Two Valuable Lessons from this Long (and somewhat Frustrating) Saga.

1) Don't Buy Stuff until at Least the 1st Wave of Initial Reviews are in.

2) Shame on Me for Not spending 10 Minutes to Read the T&C's of the Gift Certificate Return Policy with FT.

---

The TL/DR. If you buy stuff with a Gift Certificate on FT, just make sure you Understand their Current Return Policy on Gift Certificates. Because I Don't think they have changed their Policy since all this Happen.

Took the "triangle" tank out and the cc option came back. Added it back and lost the option. Very odd as it's a c
lone unrelated to Aspire so I'm stumped on that behavior.
Went to look at FT and this is what I found
Important information and restrictions:
  • This item can only be purchased via Bitcoin (XBT) or gift certificates (store credits).
  • Bitcoin is secure and popular. First time using Bitcoin? Click here to get startedwithin minutes
for this tank...is this the one you were trying to buy?

$23.70 Triangle Windows RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0ml) - stainless steel + glass tank / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Sucks for us new vapers all we got are reviews to go off of no time to play with stuff. I've only been vaping for a year and recently just found out about the fda regulations when I joined ecf in May. Finally moved on from the ego style right before I joined. All through June I've been getting 4-5 packages weekly lol. It's been hectic researching mods, rta's, rda's, nic base etc.

I hear you! Even tho I have been vaping since 2009, all my vape gear was old school stuff, I have never rebuilt a coil or owned an RTA or RDA, I was sort of a minimalist vaper LOL So I am in the same boat, cramming to learn all this newer stuff, shopping till I drop! ha ha So you are not alone :)

LOL I am trying to keep it simple now b stocking the parts, bases, replacement tanks, etc. I keep changing my mind  But I think I have it covered now. Geez I need a glass of wine!

I did get my Merlin tank today, looks nice but no time to actually try anything yet. Honestly I am beginning to forget all the things I bought, I have to search thru orders to remember oh yeah I bought that already! I will be glad when everything comes in so I do my inventory :)
    Nic = Good
Mods= Good, but one more P3 later in July
Tanks= Good, just pieces parts now, I think!
    Getting there!

Ditto. So don't feel alone, Kickingthesticks. I, like you, have had to scour reviews and pick what I think might work for me and concentrate on stocking up on that. Just doing as much research as I can in hopes that educated guesses will get me what I'll be satisfied with. I've had to take in years of vaping knowledge in a couple of months. Isn't it grand how many people are so willing to offer their experiences, advice, and ideas?

And all the while, I've been trying desperately not to fall prey to shinyitis along the way. So many pretty shinies...

I am not new to vaping. I quit analogs after 30+ years of smoking. It took me about a year into vaping to get completely off the cigs but now there is no circumstance under which I would smoke again.

I am new to the idea that we could lose all of this though. My local vape shop started running out of juice first. I either couldn’t get my flavor or I couldn’t get it in the desired strength. About a month ago they stopped carrying disposable coils, and last week the entire tank section of their display was empty and the only items left in the store are high priced mods and tanks which they keep on the other side of the room from disposables. When I asked what was going on with their inventory they spoke about this “deeming “ thing.

This is how I ended up back on these forums looking for answers and that led me to realizing that I have about a month to stock up. I am extremely grateful to all of you for sharing your knowledge with all of us who were clueless but willing to learn.

At first I was excited to stock up. I felt like I was taking control and not allowing the gov’t and their best buddies BT & BP to take away my right to vape. I got excellent advice here on what I needed to buy for both hardware and DIY juice ingredients. I quickly learned and practiced making juice, easy peasy. I have many rebuildable attys and am learning that too.

All of the vape mail coming in for weeks had me somewhat euphoric. Money is not so tight for me so I even purchased a new 5.1 CF freezer and converted a spare bedroom into my “lab”. During these three weeks or so I have repeatedly fought back the anger that I feel when thinking of my friends that can’t afford to do all of this (both of them smoked 3 packs a day before converting to e-cigs) and then I order more DIY ingredients so that I can cover them too. I even purchased extra Provari 2.5s ( have 7 for myself) and numerous Kayfuns for 2 of my closest friends who have opted not to stockpile because they simply cannot afford to do so.

I am a big Game of Thrones fan and every time I think of my gov’t now I hear the words “shame, shame, shame” in my head. Fans of the show will know what that is about.

This week I am spending time moving 7 liters of 100mg/ml nicotine into smaller amber glass bottles. I have never worked with this stuff before and am very nervous about it. Despite being careful I am spilling some and having to put the cleanup materials into a rubbish bag and feeling like I should have a special hazmat container for them. If my little dog so much as touched a drop of the stuff he would likely expire in minutes.

My bottles are well labeled with all the info needed, but then it occurs to me that there should be a big label with skull & crossbones on them. What if I die and someone has to clean out my freezer? They will have no idea how dangerous that liquid is. I imagine my house on the news with the headline “hazmat situation at blah-blah road” and then I feel like a criminal.

I am prepared for the dark ages when they come, but I am so angry. I have one thing to say to all of these governments that are attacking vaping …..

    Shame, shame, shame
