@Saippenu - About your vaping co-workers:

Have you considered suggesting that it might be a good idea to come to the ECF...so they can read about what they'll probably need to have stashed, for what's to come? Especially if they're oblivious to the deeming, I can't see where giving them a heads-up could hurt anything or be taken wrong by them.

I have only mentioned it to a couple of them. I was met with much scoffing and the assurance that there was nothing to worry about. One of them even defended the FDA saying they were just trying to protect us by standardizing everything. I felt burned and walked away feeling pretty frustrated. My current thoughts are that it isn't my job to save the world. That was just last week, and only two people out of 10 or so who vape.
I may soften again in time.

I'm wondering what I will say in public about vaping. There are so many vapers where I work, most unprepared for the deeming and state & town laws that will follow. The subject will be a hot topic, especially when I am still vaping like nothing happened. There's a little voice in my head that says "keep your mouth shut, don't breath a word of how prepared you are" and the other little voice says " your just being paranoid. No one will rob your house or turn you into the cops". My town has stricter laws on tobacco and vaping than my state does. I/E It's already 21 and over for vaping here because of the town's laws but it's 18 and over for the state. Hell we can't even vape at the beach !

I guess we'll have to wait and see what the climate is like about vaping after August 8th. In the meantime I plan on keeping my mouth shut. No big vape parties for my paranoid self. I already feel like a criminal with a freezer full of 100mg/ml nicotine

It's hard to educate people who've already gotten their minds made up. Even without talking about deeming regs, anything related to vaping is a hot button issue amongst my family of never-smokers who think I'm still smoking. At the end of the day.....save yourself!!!

Good idea I may need to hire someone to put the coils on the deck LOL I also have a bunch of Cartos left from the past and was thinking maybe I'll save them for my golden years since they are easy I really want to be able to vape as time goes on

That reminds me of past stocking up scares, I know people had hundreds of Cartos stashed I wonder how many still have a bunch left. It is so much easier stocking rebuildable things than it was Cartos. Now you can get a RTA for the cost of 2 packs of Cartos

That is my game plan too, save the cartos and carto tanks for my golden years I am one that still has a bunch left, hundreds and h...yeah I used to participate in a lot of co-ops once upon a time and frequent IBT

I'm wondering something about those desiccant packs. I live in central FL and have my AC on about 7 months of the year when it's really hot. Other than that it's cool enough not to need it on when I use the whole house fan that brings cool air in through the windows.

I've never had a problem with moisture in the house anywhere, even in the bathroom showers, etc. where some have problems with mildew, etc. ALL my new mods, tanks, RBAs, RDAs, etc. are being stored in their original sealed boxes, (that have sealed plastic outerwrap, too) and then in taped shut packaging boxes in the coolest interior room in my house with no windows to let sunshine in the room.

Do I still need to use those packs? If I did, wouldn't I have to open the sealed boxes each of the mods, tanks, etc. came in...and that kind of defeats the purpose then?

Advice anyone?

try something simple to see where you are on humidity.. get a big Rubbermaid tub, put all of your stuff in it and 1 of these things you can get at walmart/grocery store/amazon.. see what affect if any you have after 6 months and 1 year.

I just found some of my fav old Carto tanks, they had the fill screw at top, these worked great and still have some tank O rings brings back old memories ! I decorated everything with stickers LOL

Those are pretty cool. I never used a carto. How are they compared to dripping on a 510 atty? Well, I'm already going to be stocking up on 510 atties on top of everything else. I guess I don't need to be worried about stocking up on cartos as well. I just feel like I missed so much over the years, staying with 510 dripping the whole time, lol. Now I feel like I want to catch up on it all!

"Product : 3 mg E Liquid Nicotine"

Might be just a typo, but maybe worth checking into as well.

Also, have you considered buying the 100mg Nic in PG, the plain PG, and the plain VG to make your own 6mg 70PG/30VG Base for much less than the $24.99/L + S/H they're charging?

I did some figuring, and if you got (1) 500mL bottle of 100mg/mL in PG Nic + (1) gallon of PG + (1) gallon of VG...you could make 6L of the same 6mg 70PG/30VG Base, with enough VG left for another 6.8L and enough 100mg Nic for another 2.3L. Would just need more PG.

OR...just get (2) quarts of VG and have 2oz. of it left.

The flavor with cartos is more muted than with dripping for sure and cartos have a tighter draw.

Cartos saved from dripping but I would drip some juice in them about 3 drops after about 15 puffs. The Carto tank saved in refilling your Carto, just fill the tank this was invented by someone here on efc, the birth of tanks

I am starting to lower my Nic levels now to make my stash last longer, was at 6 so going down to around 4-5 now. I don't really notice the difference and rather than buy more Nic figured easier to just lower it. I have enough for 20 yrs now

I've been doing the same since all this crap started.I was happily vaping at 12mg for quite a while,but now feel the need to make my stash last as long as possible,so every time i make a new 120ml bottle,i drop 1mg,so now i'm at 10mg,once i get to 6mg,i'll be content that my stash will last at least as long as me haha.

Pretty sure it's a typo, but will check. I have plenty of nic in the freezer. This is something I just wanted to try without having to mix anything.

I found some old tanks I think we're smoketech and took replaceable coil heads like Vivi Nova, but worked better. Anyone remember those? I have a bunch of coils for them too! So I am set for Golden age LOL
