Carrying that much cash would actually freak me out more than the possibility of my card being fraudulently used. After having about $300 stolen on a trip a couple of years ago I carry minimum amounts of cash. Even though it can be a hassle getting money back from the banks so far I've always got it back and in only one case did I catch it before the bank did. The cash was gone for good, but to each their own.

I 'Open Carry' a full size pistol (in a level 3 retention duty style holster) to deter would be muggers, and conceal carry a backup gun or two as well in case someone were to try and make a move for my primary.

Back on topic I have 2 different carts loaded up with hardware, 1 cart loaded with nic, pg/vg loaded in my amazon cart, and one or two ejuice carts loaded up some new juices (with plans to buy some of my favorite juices locally) that I plan to order in the next month or two but the contents of said carts keep changing as I try and decide how much of everything I want and how much I want to spend.... this is not going be cheap.......

Somewhere out there
I looked at buying elvov chips, bought a couple kicks instead, but looking at prices, it is cheaper to buy regulated mods on sale right now than the chips, so I went with more Provari's :) But for modders having chips is a great thing to stock up on for sure.

I ended up buying several inexpensive 55w vamo style chips because I can live with out the tc. Nice to have but not essential to me. I've never actually modded before, but Its within my capabilities and after talking electronic storage with a few techy people I came to the conclusion chips might have a longer shelf life than the entire mod. I still think the entire mods could last a long while though. One thing I kept hearing repeatedly was protecting them from static though, it was mentioned more often than humidity even. I'm unsure of the logistics of protecting a mod from static however.

Like I said I'm an odd duck though and took a bit of a different strategy :)

Where did you buy the merlin? How do you like it? Does it leak when upright or inverted? I need to get a few RTA's as I have never tried it yet but the deeming regs make me want to learn and stock up on a few. eciggity has them for $30.

Me too. I stocked up on 510 connectors. This way I don't have to buy mods up front. If I need mods down the road then I can always make unregulated mods as needed. The only part that would be hard to find is the 510s. I've made a few unregulated mods and they work just fine and are safer than some of the china made unregulated ones because I use fuses and mosfets in addition to master on\off switches. In reality buying regulated mods on sale is probably cheaper and certainly easier but I'm not in a position to stock up on them and am concentrating on RTAs. Nic is done already. I might pick up a few ohm readers if they go on sale.

Thanks, I think I will order a couple for the heck of it. I wasn't sure if 23mm would clear the battery cap but it appears to not be an issue for you.
I think one of the reviewers measured it a 22.9. That .1 is priceless!

That looks nice on the brushed silver. My brushed silver is visiting NY customs right now and should be in it's new home soon. I was kinda upset when it came out like a month or two after I got the regular silver. Still, good to have 2 in the stash.

As to the Merlin, mine doesn't leak upright or upside down. Mine has not been a leaker at all. It's also very easy to build on, as I have zero experience and got it running just fine without a leak from day one. Works great. Have a second one in my stockpile. Initially it was only available at eciggity and STS, but it seems other vendors are starting to stock it as well. If the one at efun is authentic, and the delivery time is OK for you, $17 makes it a great buy.

Edit: One point. It doesn't leak if you wick it correctly. A couple of good YouTube videos on that, also some good photos in the Merlin thread under RTA here. The only time I messed up was when I cut the wick way too short but was cocky enough to think it wouldn't matter. It did. Get that right, and it's not a leaker.

It looks like I have a few more things to get after all. My wife still prefers slim tube styles so I am hunting down smaller VV tubes. Those, a few more things I like getting blown out and maybe another liter or so and we'lI be set. Watch out clearances, here I come!
My replaceable battery slim tube mods consist entirely of Hybris mods. They're in the clearance section for only $20. They frequently have good sales so you can get them even cheaper.

I have about half a dozen or so.

The Hybris is my answer to a replaceable version of the eGo.

Never ordered from efun, but are they like FT, if they say authentic they are? As for Eciggity and STS, they are authentic. I had some other stuff I ordered from eciggity as well, and found their customer service to be fast and helpful. No reservations ordering from them (or STS for that matter, just never had to reach out for customer support).

Was a little faster than FT. As far as I can tell, it's authentic . Has the oval JC holes that are the newer version and all the threads are silky smooth and machined well. I ordered my black one from Eciggity so have a good reference point.

The oval is the v2 one. Sounds authentic. I think it's a great tank, especially for single coil MTL use, especially at that price. I did replace the drip tip on mine with a narrower one, which made the draw a bit tighter for me.

    between here and there
no mention of authentic or not on efun (or eciggity for that matter) and no reviews on efun iirc (it's giving me a 502 bad gateway error now)....
I have ordered from efun.top. They have a warehouse in us also and there are some items on sale there. US Efun.TOP - America's best vaping and ecig deals

I ordered a IPV D2 Box Mod 75w temperature control and a couple of the 3ml Aspire Atlantis V2.0 Tank Kits. And had them in 3 days tops.
I am still awaiting shipment for their main site in China tho for some other items.
everything I have purchased from them has been authentic.
I just wish their cs was a little better than what it actually is.
    :)
