Me too. I stocked up on 510 connectors. This way I don't have to buy mods up front. If I need mods down the road then I can always make unregulated mods as needed. The only part that would be hard to find is the 510s. I've made a few unregulated mods and they work just fine and are safer than some of the china made unregulated ones because I use fuses and mosfets in addition to master on\off switches. In reality buying regulated mods on sale is probably cheaper and certainly easier but I'm not in a position to stock up on them and am concentrating on RTAs. Nic is done already. I might pick up a few ohm readers if they go on sale.
Same here,i have a bunch of 510 connectors, and still ordering more.I have several mech mods,so i am prepared, but i also like my regulated stuff.I figure down the road,i can either build unregulated,or i can grab some Okl chips and build a few regulated mods too.

The oval is the v2 one. Sounds authentic. I think it's a great tank, especially for single coil MTL use, especially at that price. I did replace the drip tip on mine with a narrower one, which made the draw a bit tighter for me.

oh, its a mtl tank? Any recommendations for DL RTA's that don't leak/spit/flood and hold 4 or 5 ml?

You can use as for DL if you want. Pull the airflow restrictor and it's a 3.5 mm bottom airflow, and you have stacked dual coils. However, as I'm not a DL user, I'm not the best source of info on what the best DL tanks are currently out there. I do know there are a lot.

The Boreas is a great mtl or dl rta,and it holds like 7ml.If wicked properly it won't leak, and the airflow can be as tight or wide open as you want it.It's 25mm though,so will hang over on some mods, but it fits flush on most of mine.

Love the Boreas as well just won't fit on the Pico.

That looks nice on the brushed silver. My brushed silver is visiting NY customs right now and should be in it's new home soon. I was kinda upset when it came out like a month or two after I got the regular silver. Still, good to have 2 in the stash.
Same here. The brushed came out right after I got a silver. o_O I have a pink, silver and brushed silver.

I ended up buying several inexpensive 55w vamo style chips because I can live with out the tc. Nice to have but not essential to me. I've never actually modded before, but Its within my capabilities and after talking electronic storage with a few techy people I came to the conclusion chips might have a longer shelf life than the entire mod. I still think the entire mods could last a long while though. One thing I kept hearing repeatedly was protecting them from static though, it was mentioned more often than humidity even. I'm unsure of the logistics of protecting a mod from static however.

Like I said I'm an odd duck though and took a bit of a different strategy :)
I used to work in a clean room on electronics, we always had to wear those booties with anti shock straps hanging off the back and we plugged ourselves into an anti static shock thingy attached to our wrists. We could blow out chips just because we washed our hair LOL One thing I do out of habit is touch something metal before touching electronics, de-static yourself first. Always worse if humidity is low, static builds up in low humidity.

I just heard back from ProVape on my Provari yr 2012 mini 2.5 that I stored in a baggie uncleaned for several years, cleaned it up and it fired right off. Then I sent it in for spa treatment. They said it is in great shape and they will do a good cleaning on it for $20.00. So I guess storing it in a baggie for years wasn't so bad after all LOL!

Okay, Okay - give me a link. I got to at least go look at a Pico...

Here you go Eleaf iSmoka iStick Pico 75W Body Only - Black

It also comes in a kit form with a Melo 3 mini tank for about $10 more. I have one, with another on it's way, and it's just a small, simple, and so far reliable mod at a very nice price point. And replaceable batteries, which for me is key.

FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics

There's a lot to be desired with a Pico. Cheap, all the bells and whistles function wise, and small form factor. My 3 favorite mods are Pico's, Cloupor mini's, and VTC mini's. I think Cloupor wins for me personally. I like magnetic battery doors and it's taller and not as wide. Tight clicky buttons too. But the VTC and Pico models are very close seconds. For under $25 I'm not sure how you can go wrong.
