I'm going to make 1 more order from FT this month and then hold off for as long as possible. I decided to hold off on the final Nic purchase until the slightest hint of disruption appears. If I can wait a year or more that would be great.

mods "should" be easy to come by for quite a while. I've already shelled out plenty of money picking things up since the regs were released. I have 8 solid mods to cycle through already.

I think every vaper should try unflavored juice @ their preferred strength and ratio at some point. I held off testing unflavored for a long time when I started DIY in 2013. I didn't actually try it for real until last year. It surprised me. VG gives off a distinct sweetness and the nic has a slight flavor that is quite pleasant. It's not like "breathing air" at all.

I've been vaping it more and more lately and I keep liking it more and more. I'm starting to think I can do without flavors now (something I thought I would never say).

You can buy nic base in almost any ratio and strength from certain vendors like Nude and it's high quality stuff. 50mls of 6mg is only $6. A half liter is only $22. It's not even DIY style. It's ready to vape the second it hits the mailbox.

oh, I did not know this. This would make DIY a whole lot easier for someone like me that has never done it... just add flavoring and ready to go. I might have to get a liter or two like this in 3mg and a liter of 100mg/ml for longer term storage.

I did - for me it was just fine, but my daughter said it smelled like old socks. So, I started using maybe one percent flavoring and while the taste is barely there to my taste buds - the vapor carries the odor of what the flavoring was...

I got my Pico from Gearbest today, actually didn't take too long to get here. I got white :)

I must be holding my nose wrong cause my package still says it is in China sort at their airport. I know this could mean that its actually not there physically, but we ordered on the same day about the same time. Sure wish it would hurry up. lol

I have only done unflavored. I need to decide if I will bother with flavors when the time comes. I will continue to buy just until I can't.

It's pretty weird after years of occasional buying and snagging some clearances to be hunting down new somewhat unproven things with this vapocalypse mentality. Fear sure does escalate that sense of urgency!
Isn't that the truth! I have old school stocked and a bunch of new stuff I never even wanted to try LOL But no time like now to hit the place order button :)

Have you ever tasted pure VG, no nic? It is like sugar gel! I am amazed we need to sweeten anything. I tried plain VG and plain PG when my taste buds went wonky years ago, I found I liked it plain for a change when everything starts tasting the same anyway. I used to vape plain and no nic at night when I first started vaping so I could chain vape and still sleep :)

I just would not be able to stand the waiting time - one reason I have never ordered from FT...

If it's stuff that's not "necessary", and something best obtained from them (hard to beat on little replacement stuff or a cloned tank), waiting a week or two isn't too bad. If it were a tank or mod I HAD to lay my hands on ASAP, then a US vendor is the route for me.

This is my first time ordering from overseas other than a package of nautilus parts I just got from aspire to repair a couple bent nautilus bases and build another tank from one of the 4 spare glass I have. I normally order from vapeshop (aka world of vape) in the states and they are top notch, fast, etc.

I just heard back from ProVape on my Provari yr 2012 mini 2.5 that I stored in a baggie uncleaned for several years, cleaned it up and it fired right off. Then I sent it in for spa treatment. They said it is in great shape and they will do a good cleaning on it for $20.00. So I guess storing it in a baggie for years wasn't so bad after all LOL!

ProVape also recommends using a silica gel packet in Provari boxes or baggies. The electronics in any regulated mod are the weak point. Cheap insurance: a bunch of silica gel packets are pennies each on amazon.com.
