Did anyone fill out this survey and get the results? I found the entire survey report in my inbox, here's the summary:

We surveyed 9,040 current e-cigarette users in the United States on what they think they will do if, when the Deeming Rule comes into effect on August 8th 2018, they are no longer able to legally buy the e-cigarette products they currently use.

The majority (>60%) of current e-cigarette users expressed intentions to either start buying e-cigarettes and e-liquid from the black market, both in the local community and online, start making and mixing their own e-liquid at home, start bulk buying/stocking up on e-liquid in advance of the Deeming Rule coming into effect, or go back to smoking tobacco/smoke more tobacco than they do currently.

All of these responses would likely increase these individuals' risk for ill health, and fuel a black market trade in e-cigarette products. Only a very small proportion of current e-cigarette users expressed an intention to comply with the Deeming Rule by either ceasing e-cigarette use or switching to use of FDA-approved e-cigarettes (if any will exist).

***** edit- I don't feel DIY liquid or stocking up is bad for our health

I took the survey but didn't get the results. Thank you for posting your copy of it.
I certainly do not agree with their assumption that would likely increase these individuals' risk for ill health though.

I need to post the full report somewhere, I think the conclusions are a bit off base, but it did prove people are stocking up and doing DIY. What the survey folks may not realize is how easy it is to do both DIY and stock up

I was thinking about why we vapers feel so attacked by FDA and the tobacco product ruling. For us it is personal. We all quit a horrible habit that was killing us, vape saved our lives and made us healthier, and no one is going to take that from us for any reason. At least that is how I feel. Vaping is our friend, not our killer like cigs.

Good morning and my aren't you all funny today. Got a visual of Lex spinning wire on her hip, the drill wire spinning and the ultra fancy bluedriver method. Geez, no wonder I am not good at building fancy coils: hips are too old, me and power tools don't match well and my screwdriver isn't that pretty shade of blue.

I'm gonna buy some coils from FT.

My 7/31/2016 fasttech package showed up in Miami this morning It should get to me by the middle of this week. Just a day or two longer than normal for me. Sadly there is nothing exciting in the package (just some pre-wound coils and o-rings) but I am happy to finally see it moving.

I am going to pull the trigger on at least on more order. I filled up a GS-AIR 2 yesterday and I really like it so need to get a few more of them. I only have 2 right now.

I've not read the Deeming Rule however, I don't believe it states ANYWHERE that we must comply by "ceasing" e-cigarette use.

Joseph Goebbels would have been proud of the way this was "implied".

I make my twisted using the clip on an inkpen & roll it on my thigh while talking on my cell.

Same here scandal. Lol Works good especially since I don't get along with power drills too well. I did finally break down and ordered a couple of rolls of pre-twisted [emoji28]

Wow, someone else remembers that, I think it was the Taryn spin. I thought it looked ridiculous so never did it. I am sure I would have broken something. Do you remember the condom carto filling method? That was a great one, I still use it if I am using a carto without a tank.

I would never bother to make that crazy stuff... fused, tiger, etc. No way I have the patience for even plain clapton wire. I do make twisted 30ga kanthal but that only involves a drill, wire and a pencil. More complicated than that, $10-15/25ft is cheaper than what my time is worth.

I don't make my claptons, I buy them in spools like regular Kanthol wire. I also have some Rof Vape Alien Clapton 0.45Ω 10 pack for dirt cheap, I'm lazy and never wanted to learn, all that drill spinning and whatnot, seemed like a hassle to me (IMO).. but they do actually last longer than micros and flavor/plumes are > than micros bar far. I just think you should experience a clapton. You'll see why people like them..

I reduced my Nic to 3 and been using higher VG in Nautilus and now higher Nic and higher PG is making me cough! Geez amazing how quickly we adjust to lower Nic and for me less PG, I am very surprised at this. Guess I need to start mixing differently for PG/VG now too.
