Maybe something like these. I have a pair for working in the yard, and they're grippy.
They have other styles that have grippy nubbins on them too.

There's also rubbery/non-slip drawer liner material.
ETA: Not Stihl brand, that sounded kind of confusing.
Drawer liners WalMart/Lowe's/Dollar General, stores like that.

I've cut those into smaller pieces to use for various things, they're great for opening jars, and I bet that would work for the Kayfuns too.

I moved recently and I have some of that rubbery drawer liner. I cut a few 2" wide strips and it helps a lot getting the kayfun apart. Thanks.

Now they are a permanent addition to my coil kit. :)

I really like the Radius, I like the nautilus better on it and the Kabuki's are great on it. I love being able to charge with usb cord rather than removing the batt all the time. I got the 3000 mah batt for it should last quite awhile too. I always use tube mods so just getting used to the new form factor :)

They are pretty easy to convert.I took the little hex screw out of the top of the post, then used a #53 drill bit to go straight down through the post until it came through the bottom.A drill press would work best, but i did mine with a regular hand held drill, just make sure to keep it straight and go slow. When the juice comes up,it comes right out of the hole for the coil leg.

Great picture, and thank you for posting that!
I may have to give it a try myself with something. :)

Well my Concord Radius did show up! So did the rose gold Kayfun and my orders from FT, so all is good. I only have two other China orders to show up.

Glad it helped, I need to cut some for my coil kit too. :)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it was recommended to never charge from a device in order to increase the life of the device. I haven't ever charged from a device with a removable battery.

It depends on the device you are charging the battery through.....

The Radius was designed to charge with the batt installed and it is a bit of a PITA to take the bottom off but not impossible. I am trying charging with batt in and if it too slow I may just pop the batt in the charger. But you can charge it using a wall charger and usb cord. I never charge off my computer tho.

I don't do that. It is not recommended by most on this forum and reviewers, I have never thought about 'why'.
I feel more comfortable when my batteries have rested both pre, and post charging.
My use of batteries is cyclical so keeping a battery in a device isn't helpful (unless I also had a collection of mods in cyclical rotation).

I think that is why I don't like prebuilt batteries anymore. I don't like the thought of passthrough vaping either.

    Non Exciting Vapemail.JPG

Some not so exciting vapemail. FastTech order we'll see when it gets here, I'll keep normal Kanthal coils and electrical tape over this battery nic till it gets here. Nice thing was the Coffee looks like a good match to HG2's, which I have many of. Also I get to try a bunch of new coil types.

I don't recommend charging batteries in a mod.

Sometimes batteries get hot or vent during charging. I would rather ruin a $10 charger than a $200 mod.
