So elementvape.com refunded me the $35 coupon code monies. They also sent an email asking for a driver's license picture due to new FDA requirements. I'm tempted to not do it and get a full refund. Have any of you sent your DL info?

Yep - And I keep it handy too . . . I used an online program to eliminate any identifying numbers, except for address & Birth date, then saved image of DL for future use when asked for ID . . . BTW: LunaPic.com Photo Editor tool . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I decided not to and requested a full refund. My order just wasn't giving me the good feelings it should have and I didn't really need anything I bought any way so it was an easy way to back out. Funny how that works. To be so excited and then not so much. So I have more money to order other things that make me happy. Like a storage cabinet. And another mod.

So I bought a mod I've wanted for a while now. I purchased the Squid Industries double barrel v3 in Flower of Life. I didn't feel like waiting for a few more days for BF and they had a good sale going anyway. It's so pretty!

DOH! I didn't realize the difference between mini and full size.

I've ordered many many times from Elementvape using both discount and rewards. I haven't heard back from them yet. I'm hoping they can cancel before it goes through. Fingers crossed! If it does go through I'll just refuse the package and it'll go back to them and they will refund (based on their website suggestion).

Yep they refunded me (I ordered last night when they were closed). Have they asked you for a picture of your DL yet? I completely backed out of my order. Just wasn't happy with it. And I went on to order other things that make me very happy.

I just got a fradulent charge on my card for $564.44 for Universal Studios. Other than Amazon, I have only used that card to purchase vaping stuff over the past two months. Let me know if that happens to any of you because we all tend to purchase from the same places. The only fishy thing I had was for askvape.com who also own a headshop Online Head Shop | Smoke Cartel - Free Shipping on Bongs, Pipes & More where they never shipped the item and would not reply to emails or phone calls and then a week later the site went offline so I charged it back.

Other than that place, I have only ordered at the places multiple people have in this thread.

My son just called to ask why is my mod making a noise and making vapor. WHAT?!?! It was the Luxotic on the kitchen counter. And I'm at work. He couldn't get the back panel off. Not sure if he knows what he's doing or if it somehow melted together (?). I told him to throw it in the backyard as far away from the house as he could. Dang! That has never happened to me before. Scary!

No batteries will ever be left in my mods ever again! I just don't think I'll be using mine. If I have to make modifications, it's not for me. I regret all my mech purchases (although I realize the luxotic is not fully mech...and thank goodness for the luxotic's 10 second shut off!). Luckily, I bought very few mechs. Last resort for me.

I've taken pictures of my license, front and back, and a picture of me holding it for Juul. Didn't bother crossing anything out. Was happy to comply if this is what it's going to take to stop kids from ordering online.

I really like the Innokin Disrupter but I do not like cold metal mods, so went hunting for a silicone wrap but none to be found. I did have a Pico silicone wrap so I cut parts of it off and low and behold got it on the disruptor. Now I like the feel of it much better! For some reason the Disrupter feels really cold to me. But for the sale price very worth it!

I have two elevates but have never tried them. I think two is enough for me for now. Maybe I'll pull one out and try it and if I like it maybe they'll have another Christmas sale and I can pick up a couple more.

It's just weird to me that it's not an across the board mandate for all vendors. I'm almost completely stocked up now anyway. I did say "almost". LOL

Mech squonkers: there's nothing wrong if someone doesn't want to use them, but auto firing is not a real mech squonker issue. The circuit only closes if you push the button, forcing the positive contact to bend in and touch the 510 connector. (The og Pulse has an encapsulated spring/silicone cone assembly button, not user maintainable. This is not standard for mech squonkers, but Mooch's testing indicates it's a pretty reliable approach.)

Sealing: 100% silicone caulk works well for many things. For items on the eliquid feed path (e.g., sealing a squonk bottle), I use something that's specifically for food/water contact:

Drivers license: my name, DOB, and address are out there. My actual drivers license ID number, and more particularly the little document number in the lower right corner are sensitive information, can be used to perpetrate identity theft. It's similar to I don't post my social security or passport numbers. Also, if you're ever asked to send a photo of things via e-mail, that's a non-secure path.
