@Astron Got my five Wotofo Serpent Elevates in today. I'm happy they with came with some tools, two glass choices, o-rings and extra screws. If I build one of them before 2020 it'll be at Christmas when I get bored, the Zeus Single coil is already rinsed out and waiting.

Starting to seriously consider how many spare parts I need for all these thanks (as in I don't really think I need much more than what comes in the box) but has anyone found replacement parts for these? My searches on Wotofo direct and FT both struck out.
That’s awesome, Haktuspit, and I hope she enjoys them as much as I have.

Since I only expect to use them as long as the threads last on the tank, I only worry/bothered to buy replacement glass, which I believe one of our dear friends here added links for upthread.

I’m sure these will be repeats, but here are the links to what I purchased. I received five authentic Wotofo glass parts, and a 10-pack of whatever generic version was also available. I have not yet inspected for discrepancies in quality.

authentic: $10.69 Authentic Wotofo Serpent Elevate RTA Replacement Glass Tank (5-Pack) 5-pack - 4.5ml at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

random: $5.94 Replacement Glass Tank for Wotofo Serpent Elevate RTA (10-Pack) 10-pack - 4.5ml / 28*21mm (OD*ID) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Wow, All of mine are just fine ... probably last longer than me.
I bought both the silicone, and the rubber ones just to see which one I preferred.
I keep them in a plastic "repair/rebuild" box, with all the wire, wicking etc, and they stay at room temp.
They are just as good as the day I got them .... the silicone should last forever.
Maybe it's the humidity, we are very low here.

So which ones do you prefer?

All my heads have the silicone and the one gripe I have about them is they squish too easily and also get sliced somehow, causing shorts.

But I wonder if the rubber ones may be much harder to deal with?

Conflicted!

Somewhere out there
I like the Innokin Ajax tank, but coil is .3 but vapes great and great flavor. Wish the coils came in higher ohms. I think .3 and .1 ??? Nice tank tho and holds quite a bit of juice. They are marked down here. For anyone that likes low ohms, this is a nice tank Innokin Ajax Tank - Plex3D Vape Tank

I tried the Kanger Top Tank Mini and I really like it! First time I've used a ssocc coil too. Glad I got these. I have a boat load of replacement o rings too, I must have been tipped off in 2016 that I needed them :)

I love em. They're my workhorses for when I'm not at the house.

They both have pros and cons

Rubber .. harder to get in place, and gets burned/singed around the top easier.
If you don't feel right about it unless you can crank it down, use the rubber.

Silicone... easier to put in place because of the flexibility, but when inserting the pin, you have to have a soft touch.
Don't push it in real tight, or it plays with the connection.
I had several that I had to back the pin off a tad to make a connection.
Just push until it feels firm, and don't squish it past that.
I think squishing it to tight, wraps the silicone around the cut end of the wire, stopping the connection.
Actually I like both, and alternate according to which baggie I grab first

I wasn't planning on more coils to stash, but guess I will LOL! Glad I have the RBA's too that came with the tanks.

I'm a Kanger Subtank/Toptank/Protank 4 freak (they all take the same heads and the subtank RBA).

I can tell you that the SSOCC coils are getting increasingly harder to find. Most places that have them only have the 0.5 ohm coil. But if you're like me, preferring the 1.2 ohm, it's tough to find. But Fasttech has all of them for the best price I know of. $8.75 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK SSOCC Coil Head (5-Pack) - 1.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I don't know if Kanger is out of business or what, but these ssocc coils are definitely becoming extinct and so are their tanks.

So I would personally suggest you focus more on hoarding the RBA head instead of the SSOCC coils $5.81 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Mini RBA Plus Coil Head - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping The subtank RBA is probably the easiest RBA to coil and wick. I love it. I have around 20 personally. I'm getting a few more soon.

I found 2 USA sellers that have it if you prefer buying from the USA...
Authentic Kanger™ Mini RBA Plus v2 Replacement Deck

Kanger Mini RBA Deck for Subtank Mini & Subtank Plus

One word of caution about the RBA: you can unscrew the positive pin and it all comes apart to thoroughly clean it. BUT, when you screw that positive pin back in, don't tighten it too much (don't use a tool, just your fingers) or you will shear the threads right off where it connects to the positive part of the deck, then it's useless.

I have built many coils on that rba,, nice little deck!

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with KangerTech,,, they had a huge hiccup with the NeBox,,,it should have really led the market,, but the leaking would drive a person batty!!,, Then it was like they would release anything,,, bad move,,, make it right & tight. While other companies spend their resources throwing stuff on the market,,, watch what is popular and not popular.

KangerTech & smok,, maybe others sort of did a good job making good use of the coils,,, make a coil that fits many attys- coils are like ink for your printer=all profit,, make a good/great coil,, design tanks to use them

I'm so bad with Amazon links. Check the description and reviews, add to cart, close the tab, order it next time I find something I want sooner than later. I'm actually glad @fiddleshe just came back with a 1500W one whereas that one is 300W. Googled hair dryer wattage and it said 1500W. Let me know when you get it and use it how good of a job it does.

I'm about to cycle out all my batteries again with all the new ones I bought so I really don't need to be rewrapping anytime soon. I replace once a year or so, per Mooch's recommendation. They lose capacity anyways and aren't that expensive so I'm happy to do it.

BTW here's what I considered a failed battery rewrap with my hair dryer. It's basically fine except for some small bubbles that I couldn't get rid of and I'm a perfectionist. Thought I had too much on the positive end too. I asked on the forums if it was good enough and someone said "They aren't winning any beauty contests but they'll get the job done safely."

That's definitely not finished yet. Keep going until it's skin tight. If it's not getting any tighter, don't move your heat source so quickly over the battery. Either that or you got the wrong size battery wraps. The proper size wrap fits kinda snug on the battery before you even shrink it. If you have like 3 or more mm between the wrap and your battery, it may be too big...or the wrap just sucks lol.
The wrong size crossed my mind so I looked up the order, it “says” 18650. Very irritating since a wrap is wasted. I just can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Oh and I’ll bet I’ve used 3 different hair dryers on the 4 or 5 I’ve re-wrapped.
