¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm also very picky as to the rba deck because it has to be easy like the ST Mini. I'm not a hobbyist, I'm a smoker at heart. And I mainly build coils to save money without spending a whole bunch of time on it. Only single coil RBAs/RTAs for me. Most of my RTAs I have bought in the past 2 years have decks like the Subtank mini rba.

Are you the one that did the TFV12 Prince? I got an email from 8Vape they have the TFV12 coils on sale.

Yes and I saw the email but it was from Kangerwholesale/Lightfire not eightvape. I put some in a cart but didn't check out. I have 45 boxes of them and really should be using RTAs while I'm at my desk and that's what those are for. Think I'm gonna hold out. Thanks though.

Has Innokin even released an RBA for any of their tanks since the Delta 2?

    * Cough * Cough* . . . Joyetech - Delta II (RBA Coils) . . . * Cough * Cough*

    * Cough * Cough* . . . Innokin - "Axiom" (RBA) - " iSub RBA" - "Ares" (RTA) . . . * Cough * Cough*

    BTW: Innokin " Zenith Pro – A Better Vape Experience " has just been released (and I just purchased a couple of Zenith's & a few boxes of Coils :( ) . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I forgot about the iSub RBA, was it any good ? I thought of getting one because I do like Innokin. I stocked a boat load of T18 coils LOL they are not rebuildable tho.

I was thinking of something else today. I'm getting older. Maybe in the future...

I had a similar thought though different conclusion. I have decided to vape my favorite mods, attys, and best nicotine now rather than later. Later I might 1) be happy for what I have, 2) care less, or 3) not be able to tell the difference. Enjoy!

FYI, have bought a few turkeys and some that were good. However, my absolute best value purchases have been 1) Wotofo Serpent RTA ($20), 2) Wotofo Recurve RDA (single coil) ($25), and 3) Pioneer4You IPV Eclipse ($40).

I have a few kanger subox minis. I suppose I should buy some drop in's for it. What's the best coil for MTL vaping? I never used them for drop in's. I still have the original coils somewhere. I bought them for the future. You guys have me thinking about coils now.
    P.S. I like the rba.

Oh they made the scion RBA also so they have made a few. With the US drop in coil market about to shut down we sure could use a Zenith RBA.

(And we learned about that other compatible rba last night, ijoy exo s, iJoy Exo-S Single Coil RTA, though it's supposed to be a fairly tight draw)

Think you meant tight draw, in which case I don't want them.

Yes. I saw a couple references to it being a fairly tight draw. That might be up my alley, if it works in the restricted DL zone, else I'll pass them along to mtl users.

Another note, if someone has a Cerberus and wants to run the Baby RBA, apparently the Geekvape Illusion Mini glass fits the Cerberus and gets the right height to use that deck. I haven't tried this, just something I saw looking on the Web.

I don't find the iJoy Exo-S RTA a tight draw at all in the Cerberus. I have to close down the airflow to just a dot to get a loose MTL.

I saw the same post about the Illusion Mini glass, and yes, it does fit on the Cerberus to let you use the Baby RBA.

Now the only problem is I'm scared to try a Varporesso coil because if it's better than what I have stocked I'm going to be depressed.
Yeah, I hear you... I was already beyond overstocked with factory coils on 3 different tanks (plus a good amount of coils for 3 other tanks). Then I got 6 Hellbeasts because they are compatible with nautilus coils, but just in case I might like them I picked up a bunch of Hellbeast coils for it as they were on sale... Then the Vaporesso coils were on sale and @markfm really likes them and I was like "what if I like those more?", so I got a bunch... then they went on sale 3 more times after that and each time I got a bunch more just in case I might like them. Plus just in case I got the wrong ohms for me I got different ones. I did all of that and I have not even tried the Hellbeast yet. The tank can take a crap ton of different coils which gets confusing, but I hope for my sake that there are no future sales on the other coils it takes that other people really like. lmao

I don't understand all that ohms law junk... does anyone know what these batteries could safely run on a mech mod? I have 4 of them, I mean can they do anything more than a flashlight? lol:
    18650 Panasonic NCR18650B MH12210 3400mAh 4.9A battery

Like what ohm range (if any) would be safe?

It really depends on how you vape - at 1.2 ohm, 4.9v, that's 20W and your pulling 4.08 Amps.

It may be safe for 10W, 5V and 10W (2A), but I would not even bother with those. I vape at around 1.2 ohm and no higher than 15W. But I just go with the batts that the cloud chuckers use and leave it at that. It's overkill for me, but I just play it safe so don't have to think about it. I pay more, but I think and worry less.

But those are button tops anyway, so unless you have some really old mods that take button tops, you would not be able to use them.

KK just thought I would mention it in case you were still looking. Mine was definitely 8vape I went back and checked.

Yeah, I have some old mech mods that take button tops, that's why I'm asking... If I was buying new batteries I would get higher amps, just was trying to figure out if I should toss these, buy a flashlight, or try to use them with some old tanks I have laying around that have 1.8ohm and 2.4ohm factory coils. I just would like to avoid dying in the process. ;)

I use these in my mechs that need button tops LG HG2 18650 3000mAh 20A Battery - Button Top
they have a 20 A Max Continuous Discharge. MUCH safer than what you are talking about

Edit: I should probably mention that with Mechs I tend to be extremely cautious. I try hard to never operate at more than half the Max Cont Discharge Amps rating of the battery. The batteries you listed I personally would never use.

I know what I "would use"... lol. I'd get the best I could. :)

I am just wanting to know about what I already have sitting in a box. I mean that type of battery is probably the same era as the antiquated hardware I would use them on, but I just want confirmation for peace of mind. ;)

I posted that link because honestly finding good button top batterys is tough these days. I spent way too much time trying to find those last fall. My Old REO standards need button tops as do my old provaris.

Edit: TO give you and idea of the age of the batteries I was replacing mine were 2013-2014 vintage AW IMRs. Given the age I chose to replace rather than take a risk.

Back when I used mechs, which was like 2009ish (after I got tired of cigalikes, and the larger pen batteries that came after them), there was not much talk about ohm's law as everything out there seemed to be able to run everything just fine without needing to worry about it.

Heck, I even made some mods using parts from MadVapes and they ran on a single battery the exact size of a AA (but was like 3.7V, I cannot remember the model number of those, 14500?). One of my first pre-built mods was a Roughstack which ran on an 18350 button top, but I never had to worry about ohms/amps/or any of that. (I still have that mod. lol)

The hardware I am talking about using them with is something that belongs in a time capsule. lol The last thing I would intend to do is to run 2019 tech on 2009-2011 hardware. i.e. I am not planning on running my Hellbeast with a .2 ohm coil on these. More like a ViVi Nova with a 2.4ohm coil. But because I never had to worry about that when that old hardware was in style, I have absolutely no clue what the power of the batteries were at the time for comparison to the button tops I have right now. If I were a betting man, I would say they are more than safe, but I just want to be certain.

EDIT: When I use an Ohm's Law calculator for 3.7V and 2.4 ohms it says 1.54167 amps. 4.2V it says 1.75amps. But I am not sure if I am doing that correctly... lol If I am doing that right, it should be well within the battery's 4.9amp capability.
