You are probably right. The last factory coil I recoiled was from a Kanger Protank many years ago. Since my first kayfun I haven't bought any factory coils. I did run across a pack or two in my vape closet a while back and thought about juicing one up for the nostalgic feeling. :)
I mostly build myself but I did stock up on coils so I will have something as I age if I am no longer able to build.

Are we ever done with stocking up lol. Seems like this thread has been around forever. Who else is still sitting on old nic when this thread was fairly new? I am lol

I threw out some highly aged nic a while back that was stored at room temp and replaced it with 3 liters of new nic that went into the freezer within a day. Learned my lesson. It's broken down into Boston Rounds in the freezer.

I'm glad to see there was clarification that the NY 1 July ban doesn't apply to vaping hw. I've been DIY since late 2010, have a several decade nic stash, have only picked up some commercial liquids from time to time for fun.

I'm still looking at a second Alchemist mech squonker, have some small orders of random hw bits on the way.

There may be another run on them now with meat shortages being forecast. :(

I'm hoping this is just another media hysteria item and not a real thing. Kinda sticking my head in the sand, I've had enough bad news this year...

The good news is that despite being a very carnivorous human I know that I can survive off of pizza, pasta and calzones if it really comes down to it. Until then I'll be eating cheeseburgers or cheese steaks for lunch for the foreseeable future.

Meat shortages are VERY real here. Forget getting chicken, beef or bacon here. I did manage to score a ham this week(the only one in the store) but I think the only reason I did was it was expensive and this is a very poor area. I spent an hour yesterday portioning it out and vacuum sealing it for freezing. The hubby and I will get 27 meals(for 2) out of that ham so long run the $52 price tag really isn't all that bad. I am really stretching any meat I do manage to find.

I also have a couple dozen eggs in the freezer and several blocks of cheese.

I really never thought when I was stocking up on ecig stuff for the vapocalypse we would have to deal with an entirely different stockup situation so soon.

In case any of you don't know it. COSTCO and Kroger are limiting how much meat you can buy to keep the hoarders from cleaning out the limited supply the stores have. Meat shortage is real.

I didn't know eggs can be frozen?

Not that I have any room left in my freezer. But I've got lots of eggs in the frig. It's my go-to protein.

Given the recent topic of discussion being posted here . . .

I have found it very interesting what stores are doing now and it all depends on what store you go to if they have Meat (inclusive)/Poultry/Fish available - both "Fresh" & Frozen.

I have no less then 13 Major Grocery Stores (8 Publix, 3 Win-Dixie, 2 Fresh Market, 1 Aldi, 1 Stop N Shop, 1 Whole Foods, 1 Wild Forks, 1 Gordon Food Service, 1 Presidenta, 1 Super Target/Walmarts in my immediate area - within 3-4 miles at most. Besides a number of smaller "Bodega's" / Mom & Pop Corner stores too.

All the "Better" named stores have raised prices - even on their normal weekly sale items - while the "Smaller" stores have continued to maintain or lowered their prices. As an example Fresh Market sells Ground Beef 80/20 & De-boned Skinless Chicken Breast for $2.99 every Tuesday, however this past Tuesday Ground Beef was not on sale and the price was almost doubled it's normal price. Yet at Publix's & Win-Dixie Ground Beef was plentiful and on sale for $3.99 per lb (Aldi's Frozen Beef Patties 3 lb $9.49).

Also have Ya' noticed as I have that Milk, Eggs & Cheese products are now more expensive too - almost double depending on the store.

Thankfully, Milk - can be found shelf stabilized (can/boxed) at reasonable priced, Cheese - can last for months at a time so - when on sale stock up, and Eggs - a couple of dozen will last for a couple of months in the refrigerator.

OH - Yea, what's with there being very few if not - No Can/Frozen Vegetables and the all the prices of Fresh Vegetables going up too.

Wonder what the shortages & prices will be once the next round of Covid-19 hit us and cases increases . . . Just Sayin' . . .

HEB is limiting meat purchases to five meats per shopper. That’s not too bad.

This is a description of a new Tesla mod at FT. What do you think it means when it says it has no atomizer protection? Does that mean I won't get that nasty "No Atomizer" message on the screen that prevents the mod from firing? I can't figure out what else it could mean.

    Protections:
      • Over puffing protection
      • Low-voltage protection
      • No atomizer protection
      • Atomizer short protection
      • Reverse connection protection
      • Automatic power adjust protection

If anyone was wondering VapeNW sent my masks and hand sanitizer pretty quickly. Ordered 5/2 shipped 5/5 and arriving tomorrow.

Got a cheesesteak on the way for lunch. Going to be taking a stroll through my grocery store this week and seeing what's what. I don't cook and mainly order delivery, if there's a shortage it isn't seen by restaurants here yet.

TFV12 coils are taking forever but I knew they were a slow boat order when I put it in.

I believe it simply means the mod will tell you when there is "no atomizer", which will be the same message you get if the mod cannot read an atomizer that's on the mod (due to various reasons like resistance to high or too low, positive pin not making contact, etc, etc, etc).

I hate getting that message. I try to pull the mod pin up and I fiddle with the atty pin too to try to make it either protrude less or more, but I don't usually have good results. Which means I have fewer things I can vape. Is there anything else I can do to have this problem less frequently?

    Update . . .

Forgot there is also a Trader Joe's . . . Went to get Chicken Salad w/cranberry and a couple of packages of Potato Pancakes & a couple of Individual Quiche . . . No Problem with "Meat" stock, especially since they request people to limit 2 packages per each item. . . .Found - Fresh Ground Chuck at only $3.99 lb (of course got 2 packages that are in the freezer now - BTW: All of the packages are approximately 1 lb, just wish there was a couple packages that were larger) . . .

    However, very upsetting to see a dozen large eggs for a $1.39 at Trader Joe's - yet at Aldi's I just spent $2.48 yesterday for a dozen . . . Yes - Aldi's was more expensive then Trader Joe's . . . NOT NICE ! ! !

If you know for sure that there's no reason why a mod should be giving you that message for a specific atomizer then there's a chance that mod has a defect in the board and/or the 510 on the mod is dirty and/or defective.

If it does it for more than one atomizer and you know those atomizers work on other mods, the problem is almost certainly with the mod.
