Are you done stocking up?

Just took a look at River Supply Co, Liquid Barn, Nude Nicotine, etc... B2C nic is gone. It's like an episode of the Twilight Zone, emerging from a bunker. It's surreal spending so much time preparing and then watching the storm finally hit.

Meanwhile in the Twilight Zone, recreational marijuana is about to be legalized here in NY: New York on the verge of legalizing recreational cannabis

People are going to be driving around high out of their minds, but I guess nicotine is more dangerous. Whoever thought that up must have been pretty high themselves. :smokie:

For what it's worth these guys were very friendly and still responding to questions if you have any. Went back and forth with the guy about TFV12 coils being the wrong resistance yesterday until I remembered I needed TFV12 PRINCE coils... ugh. We shared some frustration about smok's naming system.

Sent Dad $75 and had him order another 10 boxes of OCC coils "for me" from Lightfire and he ended up getting 10 RTAs for a total of $20. Feels good finally getting him squared away. RTAs were under the clearance section.

Uwell D2 RTA Tank

Horizon Vertex Plus RTA
Thanks for this - got my wife another 50 ssocc coils for her toptank and I grabbed 4 of those Uwell RTAs for myself (2 bucks each!) to get to free shipping.

B2C nic is gone.

Not yet. See my blog post. There are five US nic vendors left (that I know of) that are still taking B2C orders.

Carolina Xtract has a notice on the cart page that states they will continue to ship with the assumption that the end user is buying it as an ingredient to made nic gum, lozenges, patches, etc. I don't think this will work in the long run but they are supposedly awaiting "several decisions on multiple court challenges". Any messages sent to them regarding use of their nic for vaping will get your account terminated.

Heartland is still taking orders, but only shipping options are pick-up and LTL. Still an option for those that live within driving distance. LTL will be cost-prohibitive.

So the second time Gearbest shipped my order it passed China customs. Next day arrived in HK. Today shows handed over to airline.

This is DHL Ecommerce using 4px shipping agent as usual for a lot of chinese retailers these days. My biggest fear now is when it reaches USA. A Reddit user claimed today his UPS shipment from china got held in customs. Didn't say from which retailer. I read UPS/FedEx/DHL all have their own dedicated customs facilities and are much more strict.

Well see.

Next step in tracking should be HKG / Shipment departed from airport of origin country. Shouldn't be long. Maybe tomorrow judging from past tracking.

After that, I should see ORD / Released from customs: customs cleared. That's when I'll breath a sigh of relief.

Last shipment from GB, from plane ride to customs clearance was just under 24 hours apart.

I don't care how long it takes to get to my door after that. But typically it's 5-10 days.

My Gearbest 4px/DHL Ecommerce package now shows
ORD / Arrived at the destination airport

But this is strange because looking at tracking on past 4px/DHL Ecommerce shipments "ORD / Released from customs: customs cleared. " is supposed to show before that.

I've been fully stocked for a long time but have picked up ~desirable~ things here and there along the way. Two months ago Eleaf posted a closeout sale on its Pico Squeeze 2 squonk mods for $25 ea. An avid squonker, I like and use the Squeeze 2 but already have quite a few on hand so was able to resist even this great price. A month ago they dropped the price to $19 ea and yea.... I bought them out. Fortunately, they only had six left but I just couldn't resist picking them up at that price!

So I bought the Aspire Triton RTA System RBA head thinking it would fit in the Eleaf Melo 3, but I was wrong. The knurled part of the base is oh-so-slightly too wide for the tank to screw together properly. This could possible be remedied by sanding it down as little as 0.25mm. Can't be too much because the o-ring needs that part to be wider in order to be stopped from slipping upward as you screw the head into the base.

Now to figure out how I'm going to tackle that...

Does it look like the Part you need to work on is Stainless Steel?

I'm 99% sure it's SS and not chromed brass. Of course, I'll find out when I sand it.

I gotta get myself a bench vise. Been wanting one for a while. :)

I bought a Triton and the optional RBA when they first came out. Frankly I gave up on them (to hard to build on) and instead stocked up on KF v5 clones.

A much better (and easier) platform is/was the Atlantis. Much easier to build and both Anyvape and Fasttech at one time offered RBA's. $11.10 Replacement RBA Coil Head for Atlantis Clearomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack - 0.5ohm at FastTech - Free Shipping

Never liked that RBA. Had 3. Too hard for me to mount the coil legs given the angle of the legs.

Eleaf ECR RBA head works well in the Melo 3, got some, I just figured I'd try the Triton RBA. Dirt cheap.

LiquidNicotineWholesalers now only taking B2B orders. That leaves 4 nic suppliers that appear to be shipping nic to consumers.

    Nicotine Giant - $64.95/liter

    My Freedom Smokes - $65/liter

DIY Flavor Shack - $54.00/half liter

    Carolina Xtract - $147.25/liter

Heartland allowing only pickup and LTL (still no PG). Still 44.99/liter

Only supplier that raised prices is Carolina. Used to be $139.25 (PG).

My Health Cabin (China) order of 10 boxes of OCC coils shipped out late last night. That's good because I paid for them but shipped to Dad and he made sure to remind me that I was the one that made the transaction lol. We'll see if/when they get there.

I can't make any sense out of IVS's state list.

Makes as much sense to me as how they redefine weight-based shipping rates as "flat rate" shipping rates

    $6 Flat Rate Shipping (< 1 lb)
    $10 Flat Rate Shipping (1lb to 3lbs)
    $14 Flat Rate Shipping (4lbs to 6lbs)
    $17 Flat Rate Shipping (6lbs to 9lbs)
    $20 Flat Rate Shipping (9lbs to 13lbs)
$25 Flat Rate Shipping (13lbs and more)
I tried to order my last e-juice order off of them and I'm in Florida which has very little laws pertaining to e-cigarettes other than using them indoors in a business. This was 3 weeks ago and when I tried to check out with almost $200 worth of stuff it just circled and circled and circled and circled and circled and circled and circled. It would not go through and then I go on their page and I find out people have had this problem for the past like 3 to 6 months people have been complaining about it I'm not surprised that they perhaps didn't make any effort notifying their customers about the state thing. I don't know maybe they're just very busy but I can't imagine they were that busy 3 weeks ago..

While I don't imagine that using marijuana while driving will ever be just straight legalized I can imagine scenarios where you're walking down the street vaping trying to convince the officer that it is in fact marijuana. Hopefully it doesn't come to that
