Are you done stocking up?

Self sufficient/reliance is going to be the key going forward. Knowing how to build and to make your own coils, make your own eliquid, having a RBA, RDA, RDTA, mech mod or 2 or more and seriously learning how to safely use it all. Keeping it simple was my main stocking goal over the years.
We have seen this coming for a long time and being prepped to continue vaping as we want to is what this thread is about. No telling what will happen after Sept 9th or what gear/eliquids will be around or for how long. I really did/do look at stocking like personal continue to vape like I want insurance.

Think of it like this. Right now in the southern part of my state they are dealing with utter devastation. Millions of people have lost EVERYTHING. You wanna bet there are vapers down there that just lost their entire stash?

A mech and a dripping atty could be cleaned up. Batteries, cotton, and wire can be replaced. ELiquid can be made even if it is zero nic (slap on a patch or use a lozenge for the nic). You are back in business vaping wise. That can only happen if you had the foresight to get the mech and dripper and learn the skills.

Seriously watch some of the footage from down there witness real resilience and learn the lesson of it. Apply it to all of lifes situations. We are all just one disaster away from needing it.

I bought enough coils so that I'd never have to build but you guys are right, now is the time to learn while the videos are still up. Plus I don't like things going to waste.

Should I just buy another 5 gallons of VG and stick it in the basement now? I don't want to be looking when it's harder to find.

I went the same way you did with coils buying both pre-built and winding up hundreds of my own back in the day (plus a drop ins stash). So glad I did because now I don't have the physical capabilities to do so which is something else to consider when stocking.
The easiest to rebuild for me now is the subtank mini rba, a struggle one handed but yeah.

I think it's a consensus that this isn't going anywhere, since it's used in every day foods and cooking. It's not a bad idea to slowly start stocking up though, so you're not scrambling when you need it.
Nah they're all over if you google it. TFV12 coils
I've heard of Baby Beast and Baby Prince coils, but never Resa Prince. Was wondering if they came up with a different coil or wick ratio or something to make it "new" and give it a new name.

This is why I am rebuilding 99% of the time now and saving drop in coils for later. You just don't know what is coming.

Now tell me if this is true - They can't outlaw the flavors as they are food flavors not necessarily designed for vaping?
    True.

Flavors aren't going to be outlawed. I can think of only one flavor company who specifically caters to DIY and is US based who should be concerned.

To be very blunt and honest, DIY and flavorings are like a flea's fart in the wind compared to all the companies using flavors in the food and beverage industries. The global flavor industry is a multi billion dollar industry. That includes water soluble and oil based flavors. They would be up in arms if goobermint(s) tried messing with their bottom line.

There are many water soluble flavors made by many companies that most DIY'ers are not familiar with that are used in DIY. All one needs to do is search, easy. Those flavors are mainly used in the food and beverage industries. I use some of those and they are really good. Some are ultra concentrates and others are not.

There are numerous options going forward for quality flavors and DIY.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm 99.99% certain that I have enough coil heads to last me til I'm dead. I could literally never rebuild again if I wanted to. The only reason I'll continue to rebuild while I still can is because I really like my Kayfun 5 clones since they have metal sleeves (no glass to break) and juice control. When I need to put my vape in my pocket, I can close the juice control and vape it to dry up the wick a bit, then I know I'll never get a leak when it's in my pocket. I can't say that for my drop-in coil tanks with the exception of my evod clearomizers.

I totally agree with you and I have been watching. And have been in fairly regular contact with another member who lives in NOLA and experienced Ida up close and personal. Ida destroyed much in Louisiana and in her path up East. Also been watching the fires out west. I have friends and relatives out that way.

These kinds of events are happening with increasing regularity. I might be nuts, but to me, they appear to be getting more powerful with each passing year.

If folks want to make certain their stashes are more secure they should consider splitting their stash between locations. Far apart, if possible. And for those who are able that includes more than just your vape gear.

Either way, having a plan for disaster is smart. Being prepared is smarter.

They're made from borosilicate glass, not metal. So there's no paint to flake off of them, which I like.

Nah man, we're not messing up the world. Global warming and pollution doesn't exist. Ask the flat-earthers.

I think most of the top airflow atties are pretty safe. But yeah, I agree. I also like the Taifun GT4 for that very reason.

    Somewhere between here and there
does anyone know of any good deal on Xros by Vaporesso? I got a ....one of pods but down to only one device.

Sourcemore is usually cheapest. I like the Xros also. I recently reviewed the Xros 2 which isn’t a lot different from the original.

This US vendor has them in a large number of colors. They're $19.99 per kit, but if you use the coupon code VAPOR25, you'll get 25% off each one.

VAPORESSO XROS 16W Vape Pod System

I'll check for other deals, too, though...and might find a better one.

ETA: You might want to check out these deals, too, on the various XROS kits, that were posted 4 days ago.

    Vaporesso XROS Pod Kit $13.99 | XROS 2 $18.99 | XROS Mini $10.49 (USA)
