Hi, everyone. I'm a noob from PA and I just typed a long soul-searching, eloquent, novel of a post which promptly flew off into the cyber equivalent of the place lost socks go. Oh, well, at least you were all spared the peek into my soul's dusty corners.
I'm a long time smoker who saw a Youtube video of Katherine Heigl smoking an e-cig just by chance about ten days ago. I tried a Premium No 7 tobacco flavored e-cig and thought, "This might work for me." Then I bought a couple disposable Blus and thought, "Maybe not." Luckily, you all are here because without reading all your advice and guidance, I would have thrown out the blu's and given up.
Instead, I ordered a eGo C and some juice and I'm happily puffing away on Sugar Cookie right now while waiting for my orders from Kick Bass Vapors and Mrs. T's to arrive. So far, I'm not having any problems with adjusting to the manual button or experiencing any leaking. I have a pair of pointy tweezers that I use to open the cart by sticking the end in the hole and popping it off. I have 3 x 4 ziplock bags and I put a juice and it's cart in there together. You can get like 500 of them for less than five dollars. That way I don't have to worry about labels coming off or sharpie smearing. I also use them for extra carts, attys, caps, etc. I really like the clear carts.
My biggest problem so far is flavor. I just can't suck on something really sweet all day long, but I don't want tobacco flavor either. I thought I would love vanilla, but the vanilla I tried left a cloying taste in my mouth for hours. Sugar Cookie is lighter and doesn't bother me as much. I love the flavor of Swedish Fish, but too sweet for all day vaping. I have orders in for a variety of flavors in sample sizes, so I hope I'll find something that is light and refreshing, but not minty. I'm hoping Pear from Mrs. T's will hit the spot. I also ordered some flavorless so I can dilute if necessary.
Anyway, thanks for this great resource for new and veteran vapers.
