So, hubby and I have discussed and decided it would cheaper (and cooler, heh), to make our own juice using premixed nic juice, and flavorings. Couple questions though:

If the nic juice is 48 or 60mg and I want 24mg juice, I need PG/VG, distilled water and alcohol, yes?

Roughly how many 6ml bottles will 1 dram of flavoring make?

I think I'm going to go with LorAnn's for now...a dram is a buck and some change. I don't want to order a big honkin' bottle and find out I don't like it, KWIM?

To get the Atomic RedHots flavor, what do I need besides cinnamon?

Should I buy TV's sweetener in case I need it?

PG is the main component for diluting your unflavored nic juice, most people add 20% VG into the mix for added vapor production. Distilled water or alcohol is needed only if you add large quantities of VG, typically use 20% distilled water to the total amount of VG. Alcohol is used instead of water for people that want a better throat hit.

Roughly how many 6ml bottles will 1 dram of flavoring make?

1 Dram = 3.7ml of flavoring, so if you run 10% flavoring 3.7ml will flavor 37ml 37 / 6 = roughly 6 bottles.

I by sucralose from www.splendex.net if you do not like it you can use it in you coffee I use one drop to 10ml of juice and on drop of sucralose is like 600 drops of surgar.

He mentioned Capella flavor drops. I just want to say that they are worth looking into for sure. I am not affiliated with them in any way, I am just a very loyal customer after the customer service I received on an issue of a missing bottle on one of my orders. The taste of their flavors? Outstanding IMO.

I want to use Capella's..hubby is balking at the prices. I don't think he understands that while the bottles aren't all that cheap, they'll last a good long bit. So yeah, to DIY, it requires an investment of sorts (but hell, so does the e-cig kit).

I don't think it helps that I had my cart loaded with over $100 worth of flavors, lol.

The other part of it is, I could make some cash selling drops to my vaping coworkers. Right now, I'm either a)handing out everyone's business cards, or b) getting money from them and ordering the drops for them.

The other part of this is...I found out on Wednesday (via MRI) that I have degenerative disc disease (two bulging discs at the base of my neck). The Doc says I don't need surgery right now, and I've got 3 steroid shot appointments over the next three weeks. Well, considering that I'm a Table Games (Blackjack and other games) dealer at a casino, and it's chock full of repetitive motion, there is a slight chance that I won't be able to do this for long. So. I've got to find a way to keep bringing in income, though I doubt selling e-cigs and juice will make me what I make now.

Bleh...I started rambling...sorry! I'm gonna go check out Capella's again and see if there's maybe 10 flavors I can get that would be good to mix and match to come up with all sorts of cool flavors.
