thank you in advance
i took your advice & used a bigger allen. it took a few tries to get it to fit in there but once it did it came out like a charm. thanks! only other problem is that i slightly bent one of the posts. i hope this doesnt affect the vape qualityDid you actually strip the threads in the post, or is it the hex head inside the grub screw that's been rounded out?
For a rounded-out head, sometimes using a SAE size Allen wrench that's just a bit bigger will give enough purchase to break it loose. My calipers are reading the supplied wrench at 1.25mm / 0.049in / 3/64ths; a 1/16th Allen might do the trick.
If the threads are stripped, and EZ-Out might do it, otherwise I think you're drilling and re-tapping the holes.. Or get a replacement deck.

Lots of experience working on equipment with SAE/Metric hex screws..you learn a few tricks.Just buy another, so cheap now
Yup. I have a few of them in my shopping cart for my next Fasttech order. I thought mine was screwed up but thankfully @Douggro helped me figure it out.Lots of experience working on equipment with SAE/Metric hex screws..you learn a few tricks.Bent post should affect anything too much AFAIK, except I read of someone snapping the positive post off in theirs. Isn't FastTech carrying the decks? I think that's where I saw them for a few bucks apiece.
Questions about whether that's a genuine deck..Yup. I have a few of them in my shopping cart for my next Fasttech order. I thought mine was screwed up but thankfully @Douggro helped me figure it out.
