DW, I think you're too nice lol. You've gotta learn to be rude right back to those being rude to you, and showing up sick when asked not to.. I would consider that extremely rude. I would not have hesitated to leave them on the porch and shut the door(or kicked them out after the 1st cough or sneeze).. I've done it before when people have shown up unannounced or uninvited, heck I did it to my bio-dads mom. So after asking them not to show up when sick? yeah, I don't care who they are, they wouldn't be getting in.
People seem to think that oh it's just a little bit of the sniffles, it's not a big deal, I'm not really sick, etc. They don't understand that your immune system has had its .... thoroughly kicked and can't fight off anything.

I was trying for the Metropolitan Suite .... I can get a Mini Suite, or a Neopolitan Suite, but liked that the Metro has like a dining area, and larger living room. (I may end up with a room party!)

Good morning! It is feeling a lot like summer here today! I am going to meet with Jackie this afternoon and see what she's been cooking up for us lately! I will also try to find some time today to create some new beauties for the next sale. We will have to talk this coming week about just when that might be.

De, I've had to do that a time or two myself. After living in the Quarter for 5 years, one of my requirements for my home was a driveway. And I've been a staunch defender of my driveway ever since I bought it.

Dev like Reid I am the same and have no issue with someone being rude enough to block my driveway and keeping me from my home to have their stupid ... car towed. I mean really how would they like it.

It was a last straw moment. there are 2 cars that alternate covering a tiny portion of my driveway frequently, makes it difficult to get in/out, but still possible. Got home at two to a mostly empty street, yet a car blocking my entire driveway. Now, I admit, I don't personally use my driveway often because I don't walk so well over uneven ground like my lawn without a cane and I hate taking my cane everywhere when I don't have to, so I usually park on the street unless there is no room out there and let my guests park in the driveway. But still, If I let it slide they'll just keep doing it and I don't need that. Who knows how the retaliation will go though, hopefully they'll just key my car, won't be the 1st time lol. Have I mentioned that I hate my neighborhood? lol

I'm off for the summer. changed my avatar since I feel as though I've been through battle, not only because I've been working 13 days out of every 14, but I just went through some very serious legal battles. I have a psychotic neighbor who made some serious charges against me. She was supported by our very unethical chief of police who I've had to speak out against in the past. After the charges were dropped in court, my neighbor wrote the board of nursing with the same crazy accusations. That case was just finally dropped also, last week, after two year!.
I feel like I've been through war. I should feel relieved, but I think it will take a while to sink in. I've been fighting for so long, I don't know how to relax at this point. Literally, I cracked a tooth from clenching my teeth at night. I get my crown next Friday!
So, that's my story. thank you for letting me share this very personal ordeal. I needed to get it off my chest.

Damsellle I'm so glad to made it it through that horrible ordeal. I guess after 55 years it shouldn't, but it still amazes me the depths people will go to just to hurt others.
