Have an awesome day!!!!
Have an awesome day!!!!
I'm back! That damn Petsmart -- they don't care about animals at all -- just having a good adoption quota. I got there to be told, "We already cleaned." Yeah, right. Litter boxes with at least two days of poop, nasty drinking water where they just topped it off rather than dump it, wipe out the bowl, and refill with clean. Dirty bedding, dirty everything! They burn me up. I wish our rescue wouldn't show animals there anymore....
Oh! Cool, I wonder if your Nephew goes to the Jackson energy park over there. They have an offhand "hot shot" for glassblowing that runs on methane from an old dump!!!
He was found in a box along side of a road abandoned. They told me they had named him Odi but he didn't look like an Odi to me and he didn't respond to it either. "Ben" for some reason came out of my mouth after I got him home and he responded so he even picked his own name.
Putting her down really wasn't a choice. She was going so fast that she wouldn't have made it through the morning on her own, so we might as well have stopped her pain as soon as we could. I just wish I wasn't stuck at work. I know mom isn't doing well right now. That's the part that hurts me. I wasn't close to the dog. She was sweet and I am a little sad at her passing, but knowing the pain mom must feel right now is what makes me want to curl up in the fetal position in the bathroom.
Witch Balls are beautiful!! I would love to see your take on them.

Yes, he teaches classes there that he trades for time. He is very well known there.
I think it would be great if you guys had an info page on the site giving example photos of each category. I would love to see each type. I'm clueless of all the different names. I just like what I like.
I've said it befor and I'll say it again...I'm amazed at the amazing amt of various talented people on this thread!
I'm even glader that I rescued Ben the Dog from our PetSmart in this area if that's how they treat these guys.
I went in there looking to adopt another cat one Saturday. Ben was sitting in his cage looking so sad and surrounded by kitties in their cages. First thing I asked them was if he got along with cats and they told me yes. What they failed to tell me was only if they stayed away from his water and food but that is another story. I literally left there 3 times and kept going back to see him. The last time I had even gotten on the freeway to head home, got off at the next exit and circled back to PetSmart - he adopted me.He was found in a box along side of a road abandoned. When I first had him, his ears were both straight up. After a couple of months, I got up one morning he had one up and one down and so they stayed. Every so often he has them both down for a short time.
Here is his picture:

might have met him at some point? It's a bit of of a drive for me....that's cool!
Sometimes the only choice is to be compassionate. I bred toy poodles... I have had my share of losses. They are our companions, our best friends, the ones we lean on. We think we are taking care of them when, in fact, it is quite the contrary. They take care of us! I have lost them at birth and I have lost Them as adults. I have been there for their last breath taken and cried more tears than I could count. Including this moment.Putting her down really wasn't a choice. Well, not to open a can of worms....but we will be offering custom tips and the graph Bert's been designing will pretty much have all the available shapes and types of art glass too. Problem is that we! are some preeeeeetty innovative people and we keep coming out with something new!!
Morning Tripsters .... going to my folks' place so just a quick pop in.
Thank you again Bert, Freddy and Matt for the great tips. There was site chaos, but it isn't anything we can't overcome.
I think the phone # thing made a bit "LGB" (little German boy) but just for a minute or 2.
