OK, I talked with Freddy. I am flying from CO to NC early next week. We are planning on travelling from NC to AZ VIA 40 between 9th and the 12th or 13th. Kami, this route takes us through the pan-handle of Texas.

Three of my favorite bands are out of Nashville, Black Keys, Jack White, and the Protomen. Wish I could fit in a trip to meet you and Freddy, but I'll just be getting back from family travel so I'll already be behind.

If you're a Jack White fan, his store Third Man Records, is in Nashville. It's tiny. There is a live venue in back, but nothing on the calendar yet for November.

bert, you should veer north off 40 on i-35 north and meet fudgey, amber and myself at the stillwater exit...and any other okies in the area

digging those pendants too..big time. on my trip back i was at a gas station off the highway and grabbed derek a cheap necklace with a glass pendant and he loved it, the necklace broke a few days later so he put it on something else he had........ i thought to myself...self.... if he loves that one imagine what the guys could do pendant wise,lol.
