Good evening Trippyville,
I hope everyone is well and you all are escaping or at least surviving those horrendous temps. It's been raining and in the 70s-80s here in Indy. Unlike the last 5 years, we seem to be getting above-normal rain amounts. Thankfully it's more of a consistent soaking versus the floods we've gotten during the droughts of the past few years. I'm hoping our reported-to-be-depleated water table is finally getting back to normal levels. They had said we were down 12" from normal this time last year.

I'm continuing the workout regiment but will take the advice about watching how hard I push it.

Well time for dinner and then more work to be done. I wish you all well. Brew

p.s. - The Blueberry BBQ Pork tenderloin has me very interested. Are those peaches as well?

They are actually apples. The sauce smells heavenly. If you want, I'd be happy to PM you the recipe. I'm trying it out for the first time tonight, so we'll see how it tastes!

Btw I'm finally 6 months smoke free! Woot woot now comes a year!
Congratulations Jim:D

Evening Tripsters .... how goes it?

It was a hot day for a lot of folks. We have all our windows open catching the nice cool breeze.
Tempted to fire the AC up, but we are supposed to start cooling off tomorrow.
(we've used our AC about 4 days in 8 years ... LOL)

Funny ours is only turned off for about 4 months out of the year but the heater only gets turned on maybe 2-3times a year :D

Ok, Blueberry BBQ pork was a definite success with both my husband and I. I highly recommend trying the recipe. I also think it would be good on some sort of beef, we just usually seem to eat pork more than anything else here. I did mine in the oven because our grill is broken, but I can just imagine how much more tasty it would be grilled. :)

Evening Tipsters, I HAVE TRIPPY MAIL.
This tip is gorgeous, of course the pic does not do it justice.
All is well Downunder, still feel like a Mac Truck hit me at times but I am still smiling.
Bert did you fix the Postage?

Good morning!

Good morning Tripsters! Sitting here in the middle of no where at the California border waiting on a student to take to school that hasn't shown up is a bit unsettling lol. I feel like I'm in some sort of horror movie waiting on a psychopath to come kill me rofl. Ttyl /hugs
Bad waves of paranoia. Intolerable vibrations. Fear and loathing. LOL...hopefully your student shows up soon! I bet it's pretty peaceful in the winter when it's dark and you can see the stars at this time of the morning!

Time for coffee! I will be back on a bit.

Good morning Bert did you guys find any mushrooms?

Nope, but the day was not lost! We found a really cool place to hike where the wildflowers were blooming, trout were swimming, aspens were quaking, and you could be still to enjoy nature. My new favorite wildflower is the purple and white Columbine.
