So got mine from overseas for 26 USD.
Ordered 0.6 coils and a replacement pod.

First impression:
- small... very small
- Pod i got a new more transparent one
- coils easy to install
- filing.. ok here they should have place the hole somewhere better. But OK

Soaked the coil, refilled the pod and put all together.
Have the same flavour in my billet box with exocet and must say the first few draws the liquid taste very very good on the pal. dense and amount of vape is good.
MTL - yes it does MTL. Closed the airflow now to 15% and do feel a restriction while taking a draw.

Now further testing and vaping to see how far ich come with one battery load and how the coils behave a while of custard liquid.

Like you AminF, I find this a very surprising little mod. Now that I've been using it for a couple weeks I haven't found any surprises or really anything to add to my initial impression other than it's still working great and I'm still enjoying it. In fact, I use this more than any other mod right now due to the great flavor I'm getting.

I haven't tried any of the real Apire Spryte coils yet, but I will just to see if there's a difference between those and the Artery coils. Probably not since I get great life out of the original coils, I've only changed a coil once since I ran the juice out (not paying attention on my part) and burned the coil. The coil I'm using now has been in a week and is doing great, so coil life is very good for me.

One small thing I've noticed, for MTL if I close the airflow completely off (all the way to the stop) I get no airflow and no vapor at all. For MTL types I would try closing fully and then open by small amounts until the restriction feels right. You won't see any air hole showing, but the MTL draw will be adjustable to a really good MTL level.

Keep us posted on your thoughts ArminF, I'm interested to hear how this mod performs for you.

ok, i currently using nord 0.6ohm, like the size but airflow is a bit lose side thinking of another pod with good flavor n MTL (stealth vape pod).

Both the 0.6 and 1.2 coil work well with MTL if you adjust the airflow for that. I think the 0.6 is a little warmer, but with a very restricted air flow the 1.2 seems to warm up and give a nice vape. Please close the air off all the way... until it hits the stop and then adjust by small amounts to get the restriction you like. The battery life is improved with the 1.2 coil if that's important to you. Flavor wise both coils do really well. I prefer the 0.6 coil with airflow wide open for the vapor volume, but that just my preference.

look like modern pods can replace my squonk, i like pods simplicity, no leaking, no oily feel, no adjustment and very close performance with my squonk ....

One thing I forgot to mention that's really important to me is sensitivity (and leaking) with altitude changes. I have many otherwise good tanks and mods that fail miserably when I commute from around 4500' AGL to near sea level and leak like crazy (I do this 3x/week on average). I'm happy to say I haven't had a single leak with this mod. Maybe not important to flatlanders, but critical for me.

Like you ArminF, I've been surprised and very happy with this pod system so far. It is by far my favorite mod for now replacing all my bigger mods and has been performing consistently and brilliantly. For the price it's a winner so far.

About the 1000mah Battery running the 0.6 coils
- Do you thinks it has a long capacity?
- Do you think it would be a 1000 mah?

I am a bit afraid as the battery life is "not so" long from my feelings.
Maybe i am wrong but i need to charge this device often.. much too often.

Compared to the Orion with the 0.25 i need at least to charge double as often.

try to get this adapter, it should tell u how many mah you charge.
I use nord with 0.6 coil and yes i think i need to charge twice if i'm out all day, but my monitor my charging is around 1000mah - 1100 some time.

I use the 1.2 coils for this reason. I get much better battery life, although not all day and need to charge in the car or at a computer to top it up. The flavor is still great with a little less vapor, which doesn't matter much to me. But to be fair I don't make even close to a day with the Orion DNA either. Both devices are just too under powered for me to make a day of vaping without charging. For the Orion I bought a second device for just this reason and will probably get another Pal 2 also.

The biggest reason I prefer the Pal 2 is the flavor... it is really good where the Orion is terribly muted. I love the Orion mod for its style, elegance, and build quality, but I really don't like the pods. I'm hoping that at some point someone (hopefully Lost Vape) designs a better pod that makes the juice taste like all my other mods that give good flavor. If they are able to do that there is a very good chance I would start using the Orion again, but until then the flavor is really important to me and I'll keep using the Pal 2. BTW, neither of these devices have leaked for me and that is another huge criteria of mine. If a mod leaks, it goes in the trash bin.

Another stealth mod with great flavor is the Novo. But really bad battery life. Worse that either the Orion or Pal 2, but great flavor. It's a really situational mod for super stealth and ultra portability. Just don't expect more than a couple hours of vaping on it. But at times it's a great little alternative.

It's just a feeling, not saying the device is bad. Have three friends here all run Orion and the PALs.
WE all love it. But it's just that feeling that the battery is maybe .. how should i say.. a "cheaper" one when it comes to amperes or C ratings. 0.6 Ohm should come out around 6 to 7 amps. Maybe the battery breaks in faster. I am not an electric guy at all. Just my feeling...
Don't get me wrong. I would still prefer the PAL over the Orion when it comes to flavour.
Could also be the weekend where i am at home and so more often take the device into my hand.
Also that i run a billet box beside with a VTC in it which has at least the double amount of capacity.

Wanted to hear your thoughts about this battery. I love it and ordered a second one to cover the lifetime.
And a powerbank :)

@SonnyCooL -> how is this adapter called? Looks pretty interesting and useful.

I like the way you think ArminF! I just purchased another Pal 2 also (with a few more pods), and for the same reason... just one doesn't last all day on battery power. And I did the same thing with the Orion and bought 2 for the exact same reason. This also allows 2 flavors available, so that's a bonus too.

It would be easy to change the battery as you can see from the pic I posted earlier in the thread, but you would have to spend the time finding another battery that would fit the enclosure and as inexpensive as this Pal 2 is it is just easier to buy two. At least for me anyway.

Try the 1.2 coil, it really does last quite a bit longer (although not long enough for a long day for me). The amount of vapor is still very good and the flavor is the same to me.

So what's your thoughts on the fire button? I still think it's a bit too sensitive. It works every time and I've gotten used to it, but I think I would have preferred a little more movement and a better tactile feel. Not a real issue for me as I'm quite used to it now and certainly not enough that I'd consider it a negative, just an opinion.

I've got an inline USB tester I can find out what the charge rate is for the Pal2. My mod is fully charged right now so I'll need to bring it down some before I test, probably until the light turns purple. I'll let you know what I find out.

Judging by the charge times I've been getting I would guess it charges at 1/2C, but I'll know later. 1/2C would make sense since the battery will last longer overall at a lower charge rate. Gotta go vape it down some.

Found a "usb multimeter" on a shop nearby here. Will check if i can get it next week. Cool gadget.
And had to order me a Zenit Tank. I am so impressed from these mesh stuff coils.
This could be a way to end 6 years of wrapping coils and doing "useless" things... :)
i just want to vape. A warm vape. With flavour. And here these mesh coils are doing a pretty good job.
I am impressed!

I was able to test the charging and it was better than I thought it would be. It charges at the same rate as the Orion at 800Mah, which is just a little above 3/4C charge rate (0.8C). That is probably the best balance between fast charging and long battery lifetime. I have no idea at what charge level it switches from constant current to constant voltage charging since my inline meter doesn't record during use and I just have to watch it, but charging algorithms are pretty standard so I'm not going to try to dive any deeper on this. But the results are surprisingly good.

Also, during charging you can vape and when you vape it momentarily stops charging and as soon as you stop vaping the charging immediately resumes. As it should. So you can vape tethered to a car USB power source or USB battery bank with no worries which makes the short battery life less of an issue. I know this is the way all vape devices should work, but it's nice to see it actually does.

Another plus for the Pal 2 I think.

Excellent @Jazzman thank you for your findings.

As i am a nerd i will buy myself such a thing as well. Maybe better than watching Netflix ..

Ah.. forgot.
Tested the 1. something coil. Yes same flavour which really wondered me. But the amount of vape and throat hit i was missing. well to be honest the throat hit i do miss on both coils. could be a bit more.

NS comes in different TH levels. If you use the hit NS instead of the smooth you will get a big kick to the throat. I tried 35mg/ml hit and nearly choked to death... lol. There is a big difference. So TH can be tailored to your needs with NS if you want. I make my own juice so it's easy to tailor juices to my preference, but I'm sure you can find some hit juice if you buy retail juice and look around a bit.

As far as vapor production, yes the 1.2 is a bit less, but is still quite nice for me with a second longer draw and a lot of the time is a benefit for stealth. But everyone has different needs and expectations so I get it. Not for everyone. Still nice to have choices and improved battery life between charges. It's nice that the Pal 2 has 4 different choices for coil types, but I have no intention of trying the ceramic. I think ceramic has no place being near my lungs, just doesn't seem worth the risk.

BTW, My Freedom Smokes has a sale on the Pal 2 Starter Kit right now (with the pod), for $16.00. Yep... $16.00 for the full kit. Amazing. I realize that probably won't help those outside the US because of shipping, I have no idea how much that is. But what a crazy good deal. I canceled my other order and ordered 2 more form MFS and will give one to a friend. Can't resist a good deal I guess.

Sometimes i really ask myself @Jazzman if you US guys are using shortcuts for every word or synonym. You really made me smile after i understood or better figured out what NS means.. I am German. We where told that NS was part of the Nazi Propaganda a few decades ago. Please forgive me.
OK Nic Salts.. please be patient with me and my wild guessing. And TH is throat hit, right?

16 USD for the kit is an awesome price and you had no other choice as ordering it. i payed 26 USD from the land of the rising sun.

You wrote 4 coils options? Do you calculated the spryte ones in? I just know 2 from Artery themself. And about ceramic. Well i am a bit in between chairs with ceramic. So work but they sometimes soak to slow which brings you a dry vape. Not a dry hit but a dry vape. You feel the liquid missing.

As i am really curious about these mesh coil i did some google fu und ordered me an innokin zenith with their mesh coils. First impression are as good as the PAL coils.

So today i took them out to the office. Here i have to go outside for vaping. Rainy day, around 6 Celsius and a cold bitter wind.

--> they lost.. Yes.. Both..

Frustrating i have to say. As soon as there is cold air in the game these Coils/pod systems just loose all their flavour. Ok, i got my Nicotine Shot but hey.. Eating Ice Cream without the waffle??
Even turning the little mod up to 22 Watt did not bring the flavour out of the Zenith. And the coil got dry and did not soak as fast suddenly. And the PAL rested in my pocket after two tries.

Yes, i do like custard. And a warm vape. But is it really that hard to produce a proper device for that?
Spring and Summer is coming and this will help me as both devices inside the house do work excellent.

Holy Crap!... I didn't see this coming.

I got my new Pal 2, 2 of them. One for my spare and one as a gift for a friend today. Came in perfect shape and work great. But let me back up a bit.

If any of you have read the whole thread you know I complained about the button and didn't trust it at all. There is no deflection, no click and the pressure needed to fire is less than what it takes for me to unlock my cell phone with a fingerprint reader. It worked well, but anything that barely touched it would make it fire.

The new devices I got today have a really nice button with a small amount of deflection, a nice click, and moderate pressure. In other words, a nice little fire button. Since I had never held or fired anyone else's Pal 2 I didn't know mine was janky. Seriously, I had no idea. I thought they were all that way and couldn't understand why I didn't see more complaints. I really like "The real" button. Well done Artery.

The bad news, at least for my friend, is she is going to have to wait for hers to come in now since I just ordered her replacement. Sorry, but I had to see if the button was good on the second one too (it is) and somehow it's now in my rotation with a different flavor. It's OK though because it was going to be a surprise and I never told her it was coming so I don't have to wiggle out of any awkward issues.

Anyway, looks like the laughs on me and I thought a bit clarification on the button was in order since my earlier opinion is not a valid one and I've done a 180 on the button. Plus... it is kind of funny.
