Trying to find an affordable sx350 mod. Preferred NOT a box or one about the size of a Hana Mini.
Can't find ANY sx350 mods resdily available and what I have found is over 250 bucks. Trying to be below that.
I'm more than capable of building one only I don't have the tools I would need to fabricate a housing.
I've seen the DNAs and the dna-clones and really just not interested in those. I have my mind made up on the sx350 chip. I'm just not seeing a lot
Out there or I don't know where to look.

I'll be building one eventually. I'm going to use either Fimo or a 3d printer, not sure which. Probably will depend on whether I can get a computer file for the box or have to wing it.

If you have a university near by, they might have a 3d printer or a CNC machine you can get time on. It's not that big a job.

I have access to a 3d printer from the robotics lab but I don't want a plastic mod. I tried on from bc mods yesterday at 50w (had to try it) and it was so big in my hands it felt like a damn brick. I opened it up and there was enough empty space in there to fit a family of smurfs.

For the DNAs I've seen housing completely pre-done with mounting holes and everything, for 35-50 bucks . It's literally like getting a snap-tight model only for a DNA mod all you need is the boards and pieces but you can find kits with everything all in one shop fairly inexpensive. I was looking for something like that for the sx350 chip or am actual mod.

Nothing wrong with using a plastic prototype then once that's all worked out good make it out of metal.

No there's not; but I do not have the tools available to make it out of metal I was looking for a prefab housing. Or PREFERABLY what mods were out there with the chip already. I'm having a hard time finding anything other than the board itself.
