This issue has been legislated, debated, enacted, attempted, repealed, suspended, fought over, stalemated, ignored, and in some state of discussion "forever" here in the Empire State...

There is valid argument on both sides of the tax-free-reservation-sales issue & I've convincingly advocated for both sides - depending on the perspective of the person on the other side of the conversation.

I live just close enough to Native retailers to have made it worth the trip to buy smokes for the last many years. In the end, it's the potential for successful collection of these taxes that led me to vaping - and Albany will most definitely do "something" to create a revenue stream from vaping. Albany has been taxing the sinners forever too.

Not carping here... I could move... I choose not to. Just the facts. But up to this point, it's Natives -10, Yankees-0 - and by no means a final score.
