Asmodus Colossal Won't Fire in TC Mode

Got a new Colossal today and can't get it to fire in TEMP or TCR modes. Works fine in Power Mode. I did a cold resistance check and set it, set the temp (200℃), and wattage (20 watts) and it's reading the coil correctly at .39Ω. What am I doing wrong? I fully expect it will turn out to be something stupid I've overlooked. Any ideas?

OK...I've got it working. It has to do with the "M" Mode (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5). I had it in M1. Switched it to M5 and now it's firing in TC and TCR modes. Can someone explain these "M" settings to me?
