Nope. I don't want one at all LOL it's just my brain tricking me it likes to do that. Heh.
Today. That is my living room. I love that I have exposed red brick in my LIVING room.
The amount of dead roaches scattered about though.... That's not so great. I am going to have to either sweep or vacuum (I think there might be one here...) SOMETHING because I'm starting to believe the husband about roving bands of roaches in Douglas. I think the husband has been hiding them from me lest I run screaming into the night. Sigh. I'm not hungry but my food is cooking. I also need to do my med box. I hate doing that.

Exposed brick indoors is awesome but for me it has to be a certain type of brick. For starters it has to be or look old/antique so it’s got character. I particularly don’t like perfect all red bricks (omg there’s a brick emoji on iOS who knew!) it has to be weathered looking. We get a lot of that in the north east because it usually IS old and weathered!
I have an addition off the living room that must’ve once been a 3 season porch which at some point was enclosed and made into a tv/family room. The exterior of the chimney is exposed once the room was converted. It’s a great space abt 15 x 20 feet with cathedral ceilings and exposed brick with a door leading out onto a deck and yard.
I especially love the exposed brick in a lot of the old Boston townhouses. I don’t know why I love them so much. Maybe character like I said and it’s history. I dunno. I’m rambling now lol!!
Anyways that’s my family/tv room now. Hope you enjoy your exposed brick lol!!

I'm walking that way now...the virtual walk...walk this way...
I do examine my batteries with military precision. After and before use. I am soooo locked into that habit.
