Explain this ....mod to me! Is there a screen there? Or what. I’m baffled

I'll try to offer a "best" guess seeing as there isn't any detailed info out there [yet] or a photo with it turned on.

I say the screen is between the fire button and the up/down buttons (at the bottom). Once it is turned on I'll bet there is a screen there. They made a more rounded design and it would not be difficult to place a screen there during manufacturing.

To me this looks like something Jonathan Ive (Apple's chief design officer) would have created if he were employed at asMODus. It's very Apple in design. It is a forward thinking design IMO.

asMODus designs are very pleasing in looks, simplicity and most importantly in hand (+ in use).
Much more so than most mods out there IMO.

I don't know for certain but that is my best guess. I do know I will get one.

I agree with your screen location assumption. Seems like the most logical location.

Yep, I would just pull the spool tight, and loop a rubber band a few times.

I was thinking elastic or velcro.

I’m embarrassed to say they are growing on me already. What can I say? I’m crazy. I like the brown on actually. Luckily for me it only goes to 80 watts so I can’t get it

I don’t know how to post links. No I’m not kidding. But just go on eBay and type in stab wood. I think they are smaller than I first thought though - them being in mm and all.

I can just make out a square under the fire button, but I may be hallucinating.

Or worst case, poke a hole in the spool, and put the wire thru, and bend it.
